Dr. Hassan Kafri, MD

I do not recommend this doctor. There reception, Vanessa is very rude, keeps interrupting, does not want to listen to my complaints. Thoroughly disappointed with this service. I was giving an appointment on the phone ,called to confirm on day of appointment. And was told I didn’t have one. This second time this has happened. So I give Zero stars for the doctor who I never saw and is responsible for the staff who represent him. Stella Ford,Chula Vista.

Patients are not seen by a doctor. They are seen by nurses and the doctor doesn't even review their care or sign off on their notes. They need to be up front about the fact that you will not be seen by a cardiologist or any physician for that matter. I personally find this disgraceful but obviously the doctor behind the scenes must be doing very well financially to be running the place like this.

Had echocardiogram performed today. After the Echo I asked to speak to the Dr. Only need 30 Sec to a min. I was told he was with patients. I said I would wait. I then was told no. I drove up from ensenada took me round trip 5.5 hrs and I can speak to the Dr. Well next week i have the Cardio Stress test done and then I'm done with the place. I'll fine a Dr. who can take 1 min out to chat with a patient.

I've been under Dr Kafri's care for 5 or 6 years now. He's very good at obtaining approval for special medications such as eliquis. However, no one from his office EVER discusses my condition with me. I have had numerous ultrasound tests of my heart and legs, and several nuclear and treadmill tests, and have NEVER been given or shown any results. I am always told, "Everything looks okay." Further, Dr Kafri does not make test results and notes available on any patient portal. I've been hospitalized 3 times for heart failure, and have never had my condition explained to me by medical personnel. So I have gone from minor hypertension and an abnormal ECG to chronic heart failure, severe edema, and 90 percent oxygen saturation with no idea why.

Dr Kafri is a wonderful physician. He is knowledgeable and thorough about his patient’s care. I trust him whole hardily.

I was referred by my primary doctor to Dr. Kafri. I have been scheduled for multiple test, but never to see the real doctor, waiting for the doctor to get my results (waiting for an hour) then I find out all I have to see is the person that is not really a doctor. The receptionist seems to be not happy doing their job. I'm sorry for giving him a negative feedback for I never see him in person, but I believe that he is the responsible person for this Clinic in Chula Vista

I highly recommend Dr. Kafri to all my friends and relatives as well as to all people reviewing this panel. I had several visits to his clinic in the last 2 years due to my already existing cardiac illness and I can say that he and his staff are dealing with all patients in a very professional, caring and understanding way and I feel much comfortable being a regular visitor to this provider.

Dr.Kafri is the absolute best cardiologist in SD. Unlike many (most) corrupt doctors, Dr.Kafri is honest, he genuinely cares about your health and has always been spot on with everything. Would 100% recommend to my family and friends.

Dr. Kafri did not only help me he also offered great advice going forward. That being said, it was a great experience, great service and he took my worries. I can definitely recommend Dr. Kafri!

In December 2016, I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Kafri for a consultation and exam at 1:00 PM. The medical assistant only photocopied a few of the cardiac reports. After waiting over 1 1/2 hours beyond 1:00 PM, Dr Kafri spent less than 5 minutes with me. He did not go over my medical history, which includes an extensive cardiac history. He did not examine me. The appointment was worthless. No parking spots were available in the parking lot on the 2nd visit. Avoid.

I recommend DR. Kafri because he is really trying to help you! He is curious and very attentive! I have been to several cardiologists but they couldn't help or find the issue! After several sessions and a different treatment Dr. Kafri helped me with my irregular heart beat!

Dr. Kafri was very friendly and located my pain right away. He has provided me good consultation on different treatments and showed me what else I have to consider. I will go back to him in a heartbeat as soon as I have any problems with my blood pressure again.
