Dr. Zaghloul was nice. I'm sure he is well informed and understands his position really well. However, we did not connect to him well. He did not attempt to make my child feel comfortable. He kind of tried to interact with her, but it was half hearted and she didn't understand what he said and he didn't try to help her understand by restating it. He was ready to do 5 different tests (blood, fetus sample, x-ray, ultrasound, and colonoscopy) after our first visit. We felt like a colonoscopy was a little much for a 3 year old who might have just been constipated. It didn't feel like there was much room for discussion on this though. It is not resolved and maybe we will do a colonoscopy for her in the end but we will look for a doctor we connect with better.

Took time to answer questions and explain observations and next steps in treatment during office visit and again immediately following outpatient procedure that confirmed his initial assessment. Called to check on patient later the same day following outpatient procedure. Extremely thorough and caring. Trust his knowledge and decisions with my child's care.

Wasn't aware that my child had a cleft palate, even on our 5th visit... Recommended we put rice cereal in his bottles to help weight gain. Then didn't understand the concept of the cereal not being able to pass through the one way valve in my babies bottle that was needed due to cleft palate. Just didn't seem like he listened EVER.
