Dr. Pontash is very thorough and professional. Identified an issue and clearly explained the situation and that I needed a biopsy. l would highly recommend Dr. Pontash as a dermatologist. Sean the medical tech was also very professional.

Dr. Pontasch was very thorough and very reassuring. I felt extremely comfortable during my examination and quite comfortable with her diagnosis. The office staff is friendly and accommodating. The entire experience made a visit to the doctor quite pleasant. I happily give Dr. Pontasch and her staff a very positive recommendation.

She is so personable, understanding, highly intelligent and impeccable when it comes to dermatology. I was incredibly pleased with her knowledge, bedside manner, genuine concern for my condition, and the time she took to explain everything to me. Could not be happier with my visit at Riverchase Dermatology with Dr. Heather Pontasch. I felt like she really listened to my concerns, and what she prescribed worked great. Only three days later and I already see a huge improvement! Thank You Dr. Pontasch!

Ms. Pontasch failed to diagnose me properly. She let me leave her office with a staph infection. The reason I know this is because after I paid 50.00 to be basically told that there was nothing she could do except give me a topical steroid cream, I went to Dr. Kaplan and he took about half hour asking me questions and actually performing an exam of my body, and came to the conclusion I need to do iodine treatments everyday and get on antibiotics. He set a follow up appointment in a month.

Didn't explain at all. Said my wound was self inflicted. Didn't get to the root of my problem of why there are painful balls under my skin. Didn't seem to care. Didn't ask to check rest of my body.

I have an extreme flare up of psoriasis covering about 85% of my body. It has been like this for almost 9 weeks. Dr. Pontasch is extremely knowledgable and has comforting bedside manner. I have had two appointments with her and at each appointment she is friendly, genuinely concerned, she listens, she is compassionate, and she wastes no time getting treatment and medication for me. This is my first experience with a dermatologist in my 48 years and I am so blessed to have been referred to her.
