Ignores her patients.
She was my doctor for years. Then she started dropping the ball on providing quality care and getting authorizations done for medications. She would not reply to my direct messages. And she was completely okay with me not having my medications for an entire month. And when she graced you with her presence or replies, she never apologized for any of her wrongdoings or for your suffering. And she repeatedly did both of these things. I definitely gave her more chances than she even remotely deserved.

I would recommend anyone, male or female to Dr. Schwemm - she is knowledgeable, professional, realistic and understanding, all at the same time! I feel lucky that I was randomly "given" her for a dr!

In the last 8 it so years I've noticed a change in provider care, an unwillingness to discuss patients needs and reasoning, and a dictatorial attitude when patient fails to fall in line. When I asked Dr Schemm for a short course of antibiotics for a uti and a fever of almost 100, she refused. Saying there was not enuf bacteria in my urine to say I had a uti. She gave no alternative. Feeling miserable the day bf July 4 holiday, I asked she put in writing her reasons. Bc of this, She booted me.

I saw Dr. Schwemm for many years and having a serious medical condition made my treatment difficult. She saved me numerous times and made me feel heard and understood. She is an excellent doctor and I'll have gratitude toward her always.

There are few people I trust more than Dr. Schwemm, she has guided me both medically and emotionally, and is the best PCP I have ever had. I love her and I have loved being her patient, and I am devastated that she will no longer be a PCP. I don't know the reason she has made this decision, I just hope it is not because of illness.

She is a very intelligent, caring doctor who always takes time to listen. She is genuinely concerned about her patients and is one of the two best doctors I've ever known in my life, and I'm 67 years old. She stays up to date on current medications and trends in medicine and she even reaches out to you if you miss appointments.
