I was disappointed with my experience with Dr. Hefzy. I felt dismissed and unheard. Rather than exploring possible causes or discussing treatment options, Dr. Hefzy seemed quick to downplay my concerns and test results.

Don't waste your time, since she won't waste hers
Saw her in West Bloomfield HF Hospital for a consult. Came in already dismissing my issues and giving a feeling of me wasting her time. Wrote things in my chart that she did, but she wasn't in long enough to have done some of them (probably in my room less than 2 minutes). Mentioned a concern about ALS to her (family history and similar symptoms), but immediately told it couldn't be since ALS doesn't present that fast. My mom diagnosed with ALS and died 3 months later. Don't tell me that ALS can't move fast. Henry Ford Health should find another Neurologist that actually listens, exams and not pre-judge.

Rude!
Extremely rude. She judged me before she even entered the door. She acted as if I was wasting her time and that my concerns weren’t worthy of any attention. Garbage doctor.

We seen her and was told she didn't have time to explain her treatments and made you feel beneath her and very condescending.

I saw Dr. Hefzy while admitted at Henry Ford Hospital and was very disappointed. I was given no information about my condition, prognosis, etc. I asked questions but never got answers.
