Dr. Hector Colon, MD

My experience with Dr. Colon was excellent. I have been seeing him for 20 plus years. He is an excellent Neurologist and is always kind, patient, and very thorough.

Dr Colon takes his time with his patients. Explains everything, takes copious notes. Discussions with him are a pure joy.

Dr Colon is my neurologist for many years and every visit he is thoroughly exams me and discusses with me my progress of my decease and problems. He and his office team are one of a kind which you are very rarely finding these days. Caring for their patients.

Everyone in the office is welcoming. Dr. Colon, even though he has a very busy practice, makes you feel that he has no other patients to see. He is concerned and addresses all your concerns. I have great confidence that I am well taken care of.

Dr. Hector Colón is an extremely well-educated Neurologist, He Is Always friendly and courteous he is extremely thorough with his examinations and his clinical dictations. He has found answers to my mother‘s condition in the severity of her seizures. I am so happy that we found you and for the answers you have provided us.

Dr Colon, Michelle and the entire staff are truly some of most brilliant, giving, caring, medical professionals I have had the pleasure of knowing for over 25 years. They are on the cutting edge of medicine and go the extra mile for the long term health and wellbeing of their patients!

Dr. Colon always takes his time to get every detail of what's going on with my migraines and family history. I never feel rushed out or like just another patient. I feel heard and important. His RN also makes me feel the same way. They will send me out with samples if I'm low on medication or if they wanna test something new before prescribing it. They are amazing at explaining everything in great detail so that I'm able to understand rather than leaving confused. I couldn't ask for a better team to take care of me!

Dr. Colon has been caring for my mother for the last 5-6 years. He has been very tenderhearted and explanatory in his care for her in this very difficult time in her life. He understands not just her current mental condition but also the progression of this disease and what to expect… not just for her but inclusive of family and friends she is encounters in her daily activities. He has been right on every turn we’ve experienced and we are very thankful for his exceptional care and professionalism he and his staff has provide our family in this darkness… I highly recommend Dr. Colon and staff for the care of your loved ones. Recently moved to TX from out-of-state and was very nervous about having to find a new neurologist. Let me just say, Dr. Colon is wonderful. He is so thorough, a great listener, answers all my questions and is more than willing to try something new if a current treatment isn't working. Highly recommend!

Dr Colon is the only Neurologist who made an impact on the migraines I've been experiencing since I was 9 years old. You do have to be patient because he is very methodical, but he will make a difference. The team that he and Michelle make up are by far the best I have encountered, and I've been under the care of at least 10 different neurologists due to military moves throughout my life. They do not overmedicate or test for unrelated problems. They are critical thinkers and problem solvers and that is the type of care I sincerely appreciate and always hope to receive. We recently had to move again, and I am so sad to have left them, but because of the regimen they have me on, I am hopeful that I can continue on this better path of less migraines. Thank you so much Dr. Colon and Michelle, I appreciate both of you so much!

He spent the time to try to figure out my headaches. A doctor who really cares.

He has helped me with my TN for over a year now. He was able to get a diagnosis when the Army couldnt/wouldnt

He is best Dr I ever had He Will exam you from head to toe he doesn’t just want to know neuro but your illness other dr is treating I was on a ventilator and when I got out of hospital he was able to tell me levaquin was making me have seizures he will study other meds before he puts you on it I recommend him

I had to cancel my last appointment, and after being continously harrassed about a non existent payment, I have cancelled any and all future appointments. I do not want to be seen by any of these people. So stop calling and harassing me via email. A harrassment suit will be filed if it doesn't stop. They make up fake appointments and then bill you for a no show . Beware!

Have been under Dr. Colons care for many years. He saved me three times from being a paraplegic, He is awsome.

Horrible office staff and nursing. Disorganized. This is unfortunate because Dr. Colon is very good. I am leaving this office purley because I cannot get my information to the MD because the nurse (She might be an MA. Not sure). The front desk seems confused.

Tried to make appt, i have tricare standard, in which you do not need a referral to see specialist. Apparently this office does not know this and kept insisting that i would need a referral. The unnamed woman at counter kept raising her voice insisting i would need a referral from pcm (which i dont need or have on standard) to be able to make an appt. Completly unacceptable to have a Doctor’s office not know how your insurance works, or worse insist they know when you are very clear you are able

DR. COLON AND ALL HIS STAFF ARE THE BEST. I HAVE BEEN SEEING THEM SINCE 2006!
