Dr. Marchand is caring and very smart. He manages a large practice and still makes you feel like his only patient while giving you enough time to ask questions and get thorough, understandable answers without backlogging the office and having long patient wait times. I feel that I have excellent, safe health care under his guidance and his office runs very smoothly. He's awesome!

Dr Marchand Jr. is such a thorough doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time thats needed with each patient which at times is longer than the time allotted. He's knowledgeable, explains everything and teaches as he talks to you. I'm a retired nurse and I don't think you can find a more caring, thorough, knowledgeable doctor in this area.

Dr. Marchand Jr. is an excellent doctor and very detail oriented. He genuinely cares for his patients by getting to know them and always asking about family members, etc. His staff runs in a very timely matter and I never feel that my appt. was rushed.

New to Valparaiso with an extensive, complicated medical history. Dr. Marchand Jr.spent almost an hour with me going through me medical history. He is very thorough & genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. He's affable & amiable too.

Dr. Marchand Jr is a good doctor . I started seeing him when he first opened his practice . Now you can't get in to see him for three weeks so what's the point? What condition can you have that you can wait for three weeks to see a doctor for ? That's ridiculous.

Although I really liked the Dr. I can't say that I have had a good experience with him. He is very slow to respond to messages as relayed to his staff, particularly Noni (sp?) who is rude and utterly unhelpful. I get the impression that the staff resents you needing followup or having questions. Also, this Dr. is quick to prescribe addictive medications without really having a medical basis and without having thoroughly explored possible medical conditions.
