Dr. Heidi Orme, MD

We were referred to Dr. Orme from my son's pediatric neurologist. Dr. Orme is a listed provider within our insurance website. When Dr. Orme's office learned we had Cigna Insurance through Kaiser Permanente, they flat out rejected our referral saying they won't take Kaiser. Our insurance is through Cigna, but paid for through our employer's policy. We are out of network and have a Point-of-Service plan. We have never had a problem with our insurance paying for treatment, additionally, we, as the patient are responsible for anything the insurance company won't cover.The office manager was rude on the phone and was not willing to have any discussion or even listen to what we had to say. They could care less about the patient, and only seemed interested in the financial ease of getting paid. Given this experience, we don't want to work with this doctor or the office any longer. We are looking for another neurologist that will care for our son as much as his pediatric neurologist has.

I would like to tell you about my visit, but I cannot. I was referred to her by another neurologist for a nerve conduction study. Despite several voice mail messages being left over several days, her front office has not returned my call. They do not answer the phone when you call. It goes straight to voicemail. Hopefully I can get a referral to somewhere else.

Doctor Orme is a very kind and understanding person. She is very knowledgeable and proficient in what she does. She listened closely to what I had to say and I appreciated her taking the time to explain the procedures. She did both an EMG and Nerve test on my hand with little to no discomfort. I would recommend her to anyone needing EMG and Nerve testing.

Wow, What a great Doctor! She really took her time to listen to me and my physical problems. I know she will try her best to figure out what is going on with me. I have the Dream Team.

Dr. Orme said she consults only, so I choose another neurologist.

Dr. Heidi Orme and her staff are what epitomizes the very best in a medical practitioner. She read and reviewed every detail in my chart before my first visit and she listened to my every concern. How rare is that? She was warm, caring, cordial and informative without giving me false promises or hope. She treated me with dignified respect and the absolute best care. Her staff are wonderful too. I highly recommend Dr. Orme and her staff of medical professionals. They have my utmost respect and gratitude.

Dr. Orme is amazing! The front desk staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Orme is kind and compassionate and takes the time to listen and gather all the information. She is very informative and provides education on what is going on and you can tell she truly cares for her patients and their outcomes.

Dr Orme was patient and studious as she ruled out the obvious and discovered my rare condition. Dr Orme prompts patient participation and you will know she is listening. What a fine blend of knowledge, focus and kindness.

After receiving a diagnosis that I did not like, I was treated with respect and compassion and received the best knowledge on my condition and all questions answered.

UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING! Dr. Orme provided professional, comprehensive care in the most extraordinary way possible. She took time to review my history and records, and worked diligently to determine my unusual diagnosis. She was kind and compassionate as well as thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Excellent diagnostician. I have the highest regard and trust in working with her. Highly recommended. Staff was friendly, organized, and very helpful. This is medical service at its finest.

Dr. Orme is very nice. On my first consultation visit, my husband was with me and she paid attention to both of us regarding our questions. She is patient, listens, and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend her to any person seeking neurology services. I will say she believes in promptness, and if you are late, you may have to reschedule. However, her office is very accommodating on getting you rescheduled. She does this in consideration of her other patients.

I hold the record for being the youngest person to ever get an article published in the RxISK Journal of Medicine, at the age of 24. I came to Idaho from Delaware to attend law school, and attempted to see this neurologist for my chronic seizures. The staff acted like they were intentionally trying to withhold treatment and not let me become a patient. I had my patient file with me when I relocated and they still wouldn't help me. I ended up going without treatment and suffered a massive seizure

Having been to many medical professionals, I am particularly impressed with Heidi Orme and her staff. She is prompt, organized, and competent. Her manner is very caring. Her staff is personable and attentive. Someone always answers the phone...unlike most subspecialty clinics where the first thing you hear is a phone tree with a condescending voice that tells you to go to the emergency room because you're obviously an idiot. Good doc.

Dr. Heidi Orme has been one of the best practitioners I have ever seen. She is very professional, emphatic, and extremely knowledgeable. During our first appointment and follow ups, she carefully explained medical terms so that I could understand what I was experiencing with my feet, walking me through each step of the exam and my follow up EMG, telling me every move she was making and why. She uncovered a small disc herniation in my lower back. I recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Orme is a very nice Doctor . She has a bed side manner that is very good. She takes good care of her people.

She is very pleasant, professional , and a terrific listener. On my first visit her history taking skills were good enough to decide on the most probable diagnosis and verify it with just one lab test. This saved me much time and money and started the treatment plan with no unnecessary delay. I am fully recovered and am most happy. I sing her praises and do not hesitate to recommend her most highly. My condition is not well known and it is amazing that she chose the right diagnosis so readily.
