Dr. Helen Brvenik, MD

I have seen Dr Brvenik for years. She is the most thorough physician I have ever seen. Her knowledge stands out and her ability to hear me as a patient is extraordinary.

I have have Dr. Brvrnik for several years. She is very thorough whenever I have seen her. If I need x-rays, blood work, Ultrasounds, MRI'S, etc, she sends me to have them done. One of the most important factors that I admire her for is that she is polite, a great listerner and allows me to speak and relate any concerns I have. She also responds back to me in a timely fashion with results of all my labs, etc. Her staff are wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking a great doctor. I am now an older woman who feel that at my age, I've been blessed to have her.

A couple appointments to see Dr. Brevnik and feeling more confident with her as my PCP. I think she is thorough and does a very good job. The Diagnostic clinic is slow to deal with but hopefully will improve as they increase staff.

Dr. Brvenik really cares about her patients. She dedicates time for listening an she usually ask questions about symptoms, how I am feeling etc. she wants to get to the bottom line of my health problem.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brvenik for a little while now. I started going to her because she is one of the doctors on my insurance plan. I have always thought that she rushed my appointments and didn't really listen to any of my health concerns. She is quick to refer to a specialist without doing anything at all herself. Today was the last straw. I waited 30 minutes to be seen by her. When she finally came into the room she didn't even go over my chart with me. She just asked the same questions that the nurse had just asked me. I told her I have been getting these episodes of very quick onset of extreme sleepiness and fatigue to the point where I feel unfocused and I slur my words. To this she responded by saying that everyone gets tired during the day. I then told her that I have a sensation of tremors in my legs and feet when I lay down at night and she said " I have no idea what that can be" When I tried to explain myself further she got annoyed and said "you have a lot

Waited almost a month for a new pt appt. I liked her pa way better than her. She was rushed and persistent about certain things. I mean, I've been managing my health my entire life, I think I know what's going on. So when I ask a question I don't expect the answer to be " it's because of your diabetes". She was in a huge hurry. I asked for referrals and she told me I had to find them on my own. Well, being new here, that's unacceptable. I will NOT go Back to her and I most definitely will tell her everything here. She's rushin' too much with me. See ya!

I have been seeing Dr. Brevnik for about a year now. I have had no problem getting an appointment to see her within days of my day. I hear horror stories from friends that they have to wait 2-4 weeks to get in with their primary care provider. Dr. Brevik is caring and thorough and very knowledgeable. The only down side is that Dr. Brevnik may not tell you everything you need or want to know unless you ask specific questions. I found her nursing staff to be professional and polite.

Doctor Brvenik is a great doctor. She has saved my life. Dr. Brvenik truly is a doctor that cares. She is honest and will tell you the truth. I owe my life to Dr. Brvenik.

Was calling to make an appt as a new patient. Was on hold over 20-mins. Called again-was immediately put on hold again! I guess I will find a provider who has someone answering their phone!!!

Like others, I had to see the nurse prac just to receive a refill on a medication I have been on for 20 years because I couldn't get an apt with the dr. for months. Since then, that PA. has left. I went to walgreens and it took several phone calls and a week to get my med. Diagnostic clinic charged my ins $215 for this visit, no exam was done. I finally met dr. Brevnick, she was fine. It's a shame I must find another because nurses etc were LOUSY. Billing depart was low class Ann Marie G rude.

I cannot rate Dr Brevnik as I’ve not seen her. No appointment was available for months, so I saw her nurse practitioner. The visit was ok, but the administrative part is beyond lousy. I was prescribed a medication that needed changing, and it took at lease five phone calls from me to get it fixed. Even then the office didn’t fix it correctly, resulting in another week delay in even getting a return call from them. I had an appointment scheduled with Dr Brevnik, and I needed it to do a pre-op

Horrible experience. Got a prescription for a med that was contraindicated, and could have had serious consequences, for a condition that was thoroughly discussed with the Nurse Practitioner. Made numerous phone calls, talked to, left messages for different staff members. Not a single one ever called me back. Not even the doctor. I cancelled the prescription myself and used a different doctor to obtain the correct prescription. Four days, eight-ten phone calls: Nothing. Inexcusable, dangerous.

I have been a patient of Dr Brvenik for more than 10 years. She has treated me for various conditions very successfully. She is a great professional, very skilled, kind, caring and a good listener. Last time, I had a throat condition for months, then she prescribed me a treatment, and told me if it is effective to skip the specialist, but if I wanted the scope test for cancer to still go. So, I ended up going to ENT; the scope showed no cancer, and the ENT Dr agreed with Dr Brvenik treatment.

While Dr. Brvenik herself is kind, caring, and compassionate, the same cannot be said for her nursing staff nor can it be said of the facility where she works. Diagnostic Clinic is a farce, and a hazard to your health. Her nurse, Julie, is a total slacker who does absolutely nothing but sit on her ample derriere. She is often obtuse, and quite rude. Not once has a phone call been returned. I had 2 appointments cancelled with no notice whatsoever. Just go anywhere else for your health and safety.

Dr Brvenik is a very caring doctor. She practices defensive medicine, meaning rather than making her own determination, based upon her skills and training, she defers to sending you to " specialists" at $35 a visit in order to make a diagnosis. And then her only function is in writing a prescription. But the worst part of being her patient is her staff. These are some of the most unprofessional, incompetent, and uncaring individuals at the clinic. Try calling her office if you think I am lying.

Dr. Brvenik is a wonderful, caring, efficient doctor. It's so nice to find doctor whom you feel safe and comfortable with, who works with you when you try to find natural alternatives, if applicable. 5* plus. She goes way beyond the call of duty. She's highly capable, intelligent and open to researching. She listens. She provided excellent assessments. She is the best!

Dr. Brvenik is a knowledgeable and kind physician. She has been treating me for a little over a year and I believe she saved my life.
