I was very impressed with Dr. Merritt and her staff. I had to have surgery for a blocked tear duct and it was the easiest surgery I have ever had done. I visited her office and was told about the procedure. She scheduled the surgery. I went to the surgery center at the appointed time and from the time I checked in, signed all necessary paper work, and got prepped for surgery it only took about 20 minutes. She did the surgery and I was on my way home. Everything went so smoothly I was in awe of her and her staff's efficiency. She is a great doctor!! Highly recommend her!!!

Completely Focused on Patient'sWishes
Dr. Merritt listened very attentively to my objectives and concerns, and she thoroughly explained my options and likely outcomes.Based on her unselfish advice, I decided not to have procedures at this time. If things change over time, Dr. Merritt will definitely be who I call.

She was not only very professional, but the day of my surgery, she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The important thing was that she told me What she was doing, before I went out. I loved that I felt confident that everything was going to be easy. And, it was!

Sloppy
I do not recommend Helen. My Blepharoplasty was sloppy. I have large scarring on my eyelids and one of them got infected from the surgery. Also, I look the same as I did before the surgery.

Amazing Doctor
Dr. Helen Merritt is an amazing surgeon and a beautiful human being. My blepharoplasty was a comfortable experience. Dr. Merritt was patient and explained the entire procedure before surgery. She was patient, answered all of my questions, and never rushed appointments. The surgery was comfortable, and results are amazing. Cannot recommend Dr. Merritt enough.

Excellent care - efficient and kind too!
Dr. Merritt explained every part of the process for the minor surgery we were there to have done. She explained options calmly and clearly, and at every step before proceeding said what she was going to do, how it might feel and how it should not feel. She explained not only what she was doing but why she was doing it. Absolutely excellent in every way.

I had an amazing experience all the way through! I can't say enough about Dr. Merritt she exceeded my expectations. She is kind, caring, and above all brilliant at what she does. She’s a doctor that genuinely cares for her patients before, during, and after surgery. Thank you, Dr. Merritt and all the staff, at Eyesthetica for being great at what you do!

Dr. Merritt was a joy to work with. She is very kind, friendly and professional. She inspires trust and her work was exceptional. I had both my droopy upper lids and my baggy lower lids worked on and am absolutely please with the results. My recovery time was minimal and she was available whenever I needed information. I'm almost sorry I don't need any more follow up appointments as I felt so comfortable with her.

I already have referred a few friends to Dr Merritt. I found her quite thorough, professional and kind. I get compliments on my results all the time. She did a fantastic job of "lightening up" my baggy eyelids and did not leave me looking like I had "plastic surgery" The whole process was painless and efficient. The staff at the surgi center were also very kind and good at their jobs...totally painless too!

My 86 year old mother in law was referred to see Dr. Helen Merritt in June 2018. Both of us are so impressed with her excellent medical care. She did a great job performing a procedure on my mother in law's right eye. Now she can see very well. Most importantly, Dr. Merritt makes my mother in law feel so warm welcome! She is so satisfied with her medical care. We hope all the great care she gives to others come back to her.

Dr. Helen Merritt did a fantastic job with my skin-tag (an inclusion cyst) just below my eye. Dermatologists would't take me b/c it was too close to my eye. Dr. Merritt was outstanding!! She answered any question I had. She listened to my concerns & dealt with each one in a comforting way. She explained every step she did (as I asked). She was super gentle w/numbing my skin for the excision. Great People skills & experience! Thank-you Dr. Merritt & Eyesthetica for hiring her!! Big Win 4 me!
