Best care
My mom, a 83-year old with stage IV lung cancer works closely with Dr. Yu on fighting the cancer for almost 2 years. Dr. Yu is always patiently explaining all the treatment options and answers all the questions we have. She is focusing on my mom as a person as well as focusing on fighting the disease. But they also show so much kindness and compassion. We are so blessed to have her and her clinical team for my mom.

Dr. Yu is an amazing, kind, caring and remarkably bright oncologist. She has kept me alive for many years now. She monitors my cancer in a way that amplifies hope and diminishes the significant burden and worry that comes with the diagnosis of a terminal illness. Her style as a doctor reflects on her staff and nurses who are all equally caring and promptly responsive to all my needs as a cancer survivor. I trust her implicitly. I could die sooner searching for the holy grail where there is none (the hard truth). Having trust in her style of disease management clicks with me. More worry grows more tumors. Being aware yet not hypervigilant allows me to be peaceful and calm most of the time. This zen way of dealing with the disease hopefully allows me the trancendent longevity necessary for the next breakthrough. Thank you, Dr. Yu!

I have been with Dr. Yu for 3 years now. There is no better doctor, she saved my life! She is the most kind, caring and compassionate person you could ever meet. If you ever find yourself with Lung cancer, Dr. Yu is the one that want to trust your life with!

Terrible. Poor communication, had to be pushed to tell the terrible truth. Should have been more forthcoming and compassionate. Self righteousness of both her and her accompanying nurse Marc was revolting. Give your self a fighting chance and go elsewhere.

Didn’t do enough. She could have tried more options and come up with more solutions. Seemed Very “laxadazy”.. guess it would have been different if it were her family member.

Dr. Yu is amazing. She is compassionate, caring and made such a difficult time for my fsmily a bit more bereable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone else.
