Office Staff meh
I think Dr. Pallotroni is fantastic he takes the time to explain things and doesn't push surgery. His staff is a different story whenever I call they are curt and not very helpful. They give off a vibe that you are bothering them. I get they may get a lot of calls and have other things to do. It's almost as if they want you to make an office appointment to ask anything. This is medicine today it's all about the office appointment. The medical companies that buy these practices like appledore are all about the money not the patient

"Dr. Pallatroni disparaged the radiologist who read my MRI and commented "if I had time I would call all the radiologist who are wrong, but I don't have that kind of time". He was dismissive of my long time neurologist's opinion on my condition as well as the home PT & OT who have been treating me for over 5 weeks. Apparently "No One" know anything but him. He dismissed the physiological reaction of my body to this injury. He concluded all the above during a virtual appointment. Told me if the pain got bad to go to the ER. I met him 3 years ago and then he was helpful and compassionate. What happened to him! I have since been seen by a new doctor who confirmed my condition and has recommended a treatment plan which may or may not include surgery. Maybe He was having a bad day but he did take the Hippocratic oath "do no harm". The tongue I believe is part of meeting that oath. Very disappointed.

Dr. Pallatroni treated a spinal problem that was causing me pain resulting ins a limited life situation. His exam and diagnosis was conducted in a way that I understood so much more about my condition. He listened carefully to my concerns. His skill and professionalism gave me confidence. The surgery was a challenging one, but now I can hike and dance! Thanks for the terrific outcome and your care about my well being Dr. Pallatroni!

I was told that this was the place to go after a debilitating back condition. I was incorrect. Dr. Pallatroni came very highly recommend, but was actually very...dismissive. He missed several conditions that were left out on an imaging report and even after I pointed them out and he was able to double check himself with my images before him, still was not really willing, or seemingly willing to take the next steps with any type of urgency so that I may get my life back as soon as possible. Instead recommended the same old injections and PT. I already went through all of that. PT was ineffective because my core strength is already greater than what the therapist was used to seeing. I am a self employed farmer and carpenter. My core strength and lifting techniques are not an issue. I'm not getting more injections stabbed into me as those are also ineffective and cause more trouble than they're worth. He had nothing to offer beyond that. Advocate for yourself.

Dr. Pallatroni is thoughtful, well prepared and thorough. Of significant importance to most of us, he's an excellent listener. I'd enthusiastically recommend him to anyone in need of spine surgery. He performed mine, and it went extremely well.

Dr. Pallatroni is very highly recommended. He listened patiently to my concerns and described exactly what his proposed surgery would accomplish. During the Covid-19 suspension of elective surgeries he remained accessible. His medical assistants and office staff are all wonderful. Every aspect of the surgery appears to have gone well and I am now pain free and regaining strength in my legs

I was referred to Dr. Pallatroni by York Hospital after a fall and a suspected spinal fracture. I found the doctor to be thorough with his exam , congenial and felt confident with his diagnosis. Fortunately I do not have a fracture requiring follow up, but if so I would not hesitate to return.

Dr. Pallatroni and his staff are excellent. I saw Dr. Pallatroni for a surgical consult, not only was he very friendly but also was extremely thorough in expaining my proposed procedure. He was very patient in listening to my history and answering all my questions. Being a nurse practitioner, I have referred patients to Dr. Pallatroni for many years in the past because I believe he is the best in the area. I can now say, personally, he is superb and I would continue to highly recommend him and his staff to anyone needing his expertise.

This was my first visit to Dr Pallatroni. He was very pleasant and explained my condition to me in layman's terms that I could understand. He gave his advice on what to do from conservative treatment to surgical. I appreciated how kind he was, thorough and thoughtful about my livelihood and the effects each option would have on it. Excellent Dr. Definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for a Neurosurgeon.

Dr Pallatroni installed spinal cord stimulator for me . The surgery was uneventful and an easier recovery than I expected. He just does very clean and good work. Honestly, the kindness he shows is a bonus. He can relate to patients well and that's good. I'm pretty private in some ways, but he makes it easy to talk to him. The bottom line is, he is an expert neurosurgeon and that's really all you need to know. That he is personable and accessible is fantastic. If I had to have anything neurosurgery done, I would check with him. I hope he stays healthy and doesn't relocate out of area. His staff is very good, which tells me he treats them well.

I could reiterate everything said in other patients’ reviews, but I will just say I agree with all that has been said; everything. I will add that Dr. Pallatroni is very easy to talk with; he listens and explains and answers any questions you may have, without double speak. I felt very confident going into surgery that I was referred to the right doctor to correct my spinal pain and discomfort. And, he did. He is busy, and you may not get to see him as quickly as you would like, but it will be to your benefit to wait. I have been and I am now very pleased.
