Been seeing Dr. Markley for over 35 years. Best Dr. ever he listens to you he will only change one medication at a time. He is one that will tell it as it is. E has stuck with me through thick and thin. He will listen to you and take the time with you and not rush your appointments. Yes you may have to leave a few messages to get through to reach him or his staff but they return phone calls. I would go no where else. Saw 9 other neurologists before him. Worth the travel and extra money to keep my Dr.

Worst experience I have ever had with a dr. When the woman I was seeing quit, it was like he decided to turn me into his personal pissing contest. Put me on a drug I'd tried before and didn't work "you weren't on a high enough dose." Prescribed the drug - I got so sick I had to stop. Then he took me off without a taper. I was sick for months. My digestive system still isn't back to normal. After all this, no one even returns your calls. I can't even get my records.

I have been a patient of Dr. Markley's for probably 10 years and am also a health care professional with my own migraine expertise. Yes, Dr. Markley and his staff can be brusque at first glance, but what lies behind that is tremendous professionalism and deep caring. If you are looking to traditional medicine for help with migraines, he is definitely the premier person in New England. He has stuck with me through thick and thin and never stopped looking for answers on my behalf. Highly recommend

Dr. Markley and his staff are rude and unprofessional. I think he could have helped me but he won’t return your call and told me to stop calling when I did get a hold of him. I never got a prescription for my headache and was told to make an appointment. Couldn’t believe it.

Unanswered calls, I finally got a human instead of voicemail. They said Dr Markley would call me back, that never happened! Very frustrating to call and call over again for several days without the decency of a return call!!! You would think since they are out to lunch from 11:30 - 1pm that they would at least do their job when they return! They told me they had my mri results but still didn't bother to call me back, knowing that I was in pain and waiting to hear. Extremely disappointed!

Although I did get some relief from Migraines with Dr. Markley, I wasn't happy with the staff and unreturned phone calls. I would call multiple times and no one took into consideration the pain and dire need to talk with the physician.

Dr Markley is by far the most knowledgeable specialist i have ever met. His goal is to eliminate all migraines with as little medication as possible, In my case it was a B-2 deficiency combined with tendency toward insomnia, depression and eliminating certain foods. He spends 90 minutes in his first visit with patients to get a clear historical picture. Once done, his treat was spot on and my migraines went from every week to once per month or even less.

Their office is very lousy with scheduling appointments. Out of 4 scheduled appointments that I have brought my mother to twice they told us that she wasn't scheduled despite having the appointment cards in hand. The lady who booked it both times obviously doesn't know how to do her job and their office is very unprofessional on how they handle things.

I think Dr. Markley is very knowledgeable about migraines, and does try to do his best for his patients. However, he comes across as condescending, even rude, and his staff is definitely rude.

Dr. Markley spent a good deal of time discussing my symptoms with me. He is obviously extremely knowledgeable especially in the area of migraines. However, I found him to be quite rude and condescending both in person and via voice mail. I could deal with his rudeness if he was able to help me with my condition. However, he is next to impossible to get in touch with over the phone. If you are not by the phone waiting for his call, you are out of luck. When you return calls, you go to vm.
