Middle of the road oncologist
Dr. Newton is pleasant but not willing to go out of his way to investigate new or innovative treatment options. If you want someone willing to think out of the box and go the extra mile he is not a good choice. His staff, his PA, and his nurse are amazing and so helpful. Too bad they don't have the credentials to run the practice themselves.

Dr. Newton is a knowledgeable great doctor
I saw him when he was at OSU then went to Kettering and then to Florida. He has been a part of my team for the past 11 years. He is very kind and gentle and patient. He has never rushed my appointments and has always took the time to explain what MRIs show and what the next step in the plan of care is. He writes to me as I’m deaf and I think that’s so cool because he takes the extra time some docs just talk even though you tell them you are deaf and they need to write or type and a few even go get a computer for sign language when you already told them you don’t know know sign language cause you woke up deaf duty to brain tumors.
