Dr. Hermanda Glaser, MD

Dr. Glaser WAS an amazing doctor. She hasn’t been practicing due to illness but supposedly has a service responding to inquiries. However, no one ever responds. It’s virtually impossible to get a hold of anyone via email or the patient portal. Very sad.

This is the best Doctor in the state of Florida if not the USA. I had Dr. G for several years. I live in Valrico she moved to Lakewood Ranch. I wasn't going to give her up so I travel over an hours for my appointments. she is a very caring person. She cares more for her patients than money believe it or not. She never ever overbooks, you are taken promptly. The other day she asked me how I was feeling and I replied Ok.that's not good enough she wants you to feel great and will get you there.

Doctor Glaser is the best doctor I have ever had. She takes as much time as needed even if it is over the "allotted" time slot. She not only cares about your physical health but also the mental things that can affect the physical. She makes you feel comfortable and is easy to talk with. Dr Glaser does not have that 'I am the doctor, you will listen' attitude. She wants to hear what you have to say. And she is willing to interact with your other doctors to ensure the best care.

She goes over every test with you and explains what the numbers mean and she is willing to work with you to adjust your medicines and then does follow up labs to ensure the plan is working. She will call you on the phone to discuss your follow up labs, not requiring you to incur another office visit. Her "bedside" manner is amazing. She takes her time with you while you are there, as if you are her only patient. You have her undivided attention when she is seeing you.

I have been seeing Dr. Glaser for some time now. She is a great doctor. She listens intently to what I say and treats me like an individual not a number or copayment. My appointment may take thirty minutes or an hour, depending on what I need to talk about. I live in Brandon, but her office is in Sarasota. Believe me, Dr G. is worth the 45 to an hour drive!

Dr Glaser became my doctor when her practice was in Brandon, FL. When she moved to Lakewood Ranch I was not looking forward to finding a new doctor. I decided I would rather make the trip to see her than change doctors. She spends time with me and I never feel rushed during the visit. She has even seen me as a walk in when I had a situation that was of great concern to me.

She always takes time in her appointments to go every detail and to ask if you have any questions.
