Respectful, great staff, left me with chronic pain
Insisted that lumbar spine fusion 1 level was the optimal treatment. Needed 2 additional fusion surgeries due to very poor judgement. Would not recommend

Doctor put me at ease. FANTASTIC staff, too
Dr. El-Kadi was respectful, thorough, and did not rush the appointment. He was detailed in not only reviewing my condition, but also all of my options. There was no pressure to choose an option for treatment; however, he provided his recommendation with reasons to support it. The entire staff, from the PA to the check-out staff, were very friendly, respectful, and extended their availability for any questions or concerns. I am due to have neck surgery and have been extremely anxious about it. Dr. El-Kadi really managed to put me at ease.

Laminectomy L-3-4-5 successful
I felt very confident of Dr. El-Kadi and his surgical team' s care. I was given the full facts of what to expect and experience which was difficult but necessary and appreciated knowing this as I went through the operation and after care. The coordination between Dr. El-Kadi and his team with the hospital was seamless. The hospital care was exemplary and state of the art. I highly recommend Dr. El-Kadi and his team.

Dr. El-Kadi performed my microdisectomy on 8/23/21 and I wanted to write a review about my experience. I am 2 weeks post op and recovering nicely and I attribute this to Dr El-Kadi and his skill as a neurosurgeon. I wanted to also mention some of his staff that helped me before and after my surgery and how kind and professional they were. Thank you Kim RN, Shannon in scheduling,Amanda in the front office and Hailey PA for all your help.

Dr is not trustworthy. Did not explain procedure/surgery in a way that was easy to understand. Lied to me about why I couldn’t see my spouse post op. Capable surgeon. Office/nurses/pa/doctor failed at everything else.

I was suffering from extreme back pain going down my leg. I had been to various doctors, tried different medications, physical therapy, etc. I had gone for an MRI at Jefferson Hospital but the radiologist misdiagnosed the problem. When I finally got to Dr. El-Kadi on 7/8/20, I could hardly walk. Within 2 minutes of him looking at my MRI, he correctly diagnosed me with lateral herniated discs pressing on the sciatica. He immediately had me admitted to Passavant Hospital where I had emergency surgery the following day. From the minute I entered Dr. El-Kadi's office, I knew I was in excellent hands! His entire staff is extremely professional and very kind. Dr. El-Kadi had done a prior surgery on me 12 years ago for stenosis. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing an excellent neurosurgeon. He is THE BEST!!!

I had a large synovial cyst at L4/L5 level causing severe pain and affecting my mobility. Dr El-Kadi and staff treated my problem with exceptionally professional care. I had my MRI one week, saw Dr. El-Kadi the next week, and had my surgery the next week. My surgery and recovery have gone much better than expected. I would give Dr El-Kadi my highest personal recommendation for anyone seeking the absolute best in spinal surgery in the Tri-State area.

Extremely satisfied with my experience with Dr. El-Kadi. He did exactly what he described during pre-surgery appointment. I have done almost a one eighty in recovery from the time I first walked in until today when I had my staples removed. He doesn't waste time during office visits but fully explains and answers any pertinent questions you may have. His entire staff also deserves kudos as they are polite, patient, and very helpful. I highly recommend DR. El-Kadi.

Dr. El-Kadi literally gave me my life back. He performed a C5-C6 discectomy and fusion in April 2018 which gave me immediate relief from pain on the right side of my neck down to my right forearm. Just making it thru the day at my office job was torture before the surgery, and this was my second bout with pain from the cervical herniated disc and bone spur. Dr. El-Kadi’s skill and professionalism are unsurpassed, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing neurosurgery.

Dr El-Kadi surgically repaired L2, L3, L4, L5 & S1 and fused L4, L5 and S1 because L5 was very unstable. He is a man of few words, but all of his words are meaningful. He and his very competent staff of PAs and nurses took great care of me before, during and after the surgery. I have none of the horrible leg and hip pain that I had before surgery and I am looking forward to making a full recovery. Thank you Dr. El-Kadi and your very competent staff.

Dr. El kadi refused to even see me. My sister had him as her surgeon & i questioned one of his assistants about the care he was giving her. That was@ 2years ago & now he refused to even see me as a consult. Btw... His surgery on my sister did nothing to ease her pain or increase her quality of life.
