Cataract Surgery Gone Bad
Dr Haik performed my cataract Surgery. He used the Vivity lens although I was not a candidate due to my macular degeneration. These lens are $2500 more for each eye. Was it the money! Within the first four months they could have been replaced if YAG surgery had not been performed afterward. From the first day my vision was blurry. I complained but he did not listen. Absolutely no empathy at all for me. I have seen three more doctors since and all agree that I take a risk attempting to replace them at this later date. I live with blurry vision! Given the choice use the clear lens and not a multi focal. The odds of a problem are greater with a multi focal but mainly vet your doctor. Like everything, all doctors are not created equal. Your eyes are worth the extra effort.Thanks for nothing Dr Haik!

Came highly recommended. After consultation, conclusions drawn: most likely made all As in courses relating to mood & manner, how to win friends and people, along with very charming disposition and attitude. Wish I had more eyes that needed treatment. It was a sincere delight to be in his company, as brief as it was.
