I received excellent care, both clinically and personally. Full explanations, time for questions, treated me as a partner, and expressed genuine concern. Even helped to deal with insurance!

Dr Tandon did a procedure on my aunt and when he was asked questions about an underlying condition (not heart but directly related), were told he was only there to do the procedure and refused to speak more about it. For an elderly woman, having a doctor who refused to give care was incredibly frightening. He left her, scared and without any information. He is completely cold and unfeeling, but his job is not to give that kind - or any kind - of care, guess. I fear for anyone who comes into contact with Dr. Tandon for "care." RUN AWAY and find a doctor who is human.

WARNING: If you need a pre-op cardiac physical don't do it here. What they don't tell you until after your EKG is they require an echocardiogram and a stress test before they will sign your pre-op results. My EKG had no issues. Does not matter. I just finished my echocardiogram and no issues. Does not matter. I MUST do a nuclear 2-day stress test before they will approve me for surgery. My only issue was 1 stent 5.5 years ago and no issues since. My blood pressure today was 114/75 even though I am stressed facing 3 additional nonsensical appointments. Google pre-op requirements and EKG is listed. I spoke with Dr. T and he explained the echo and stress tests are recommended. Unfortunately, he will NOT sign the pre-op until they have been completed. How much time and money is wasted with unnecessary testing? No wonder health insurance has skyrocketed.

I recently had an experience of chest pain’s and went to Allen Hospital. I was very impressed with how much Dr. tendon cared. He visited me in the hospital and checked in on me to find out my test results etc. I would highly recommend him and do to others. He has a good bedside manner, smart and funny what more can you ask for.

Dr. Tandon was my husbands doctor for many years. He truly cares for his patients and the family as well. Always took time to make sure we understood every procedure, answering all our questions. Dr. Tandon has a terrific bedside manor.
