Dr. Hoang Nguyen, DO

Warning, Must read! (Long review)I went to see Dr. Nguyen when moving back to the Bay area last May. I was recommended by family whom he treats. I went to the doctor with a diagnosis of a 4cm aortic aneurysm. While this issue was quickly put aside he decided to put me on a 48 hr holter monitor at home. I was told I have SVT and sent home to repeat the test. The SVT diagnosis was confirmed again. I was then put on blood pressure medication and scheduled to come back a couple months later. At this next appointment I was told I now have confirmed AFIB and that he wants me on blood thinners. He told me I was at a serious risk of having a stroke.This seemed quite concerning to me so I did further research on the doctor and was alarmed by his reviews. I immediately sought a second opinion with a Stanford Medical cardio specialist. They pulled Dr. Nguyens records and said there were no signs of AFIB from his test done on me. Dr. Hoang M. Nguyen DO does not care about his patients and overcharges for brief conversations. Expect a bill in the hundreds without ever getting any questions answered, any tests done, or any real help provided.
