I found her to be very knowledgeable and a great dr. I have had her for years, and we have worked together, on a path of keeping me healthy and learning how to manage some of my health issues as I grow older. First a Dr is not a Magic person, you have to advocate and be a key player in your health, especially with chronic conditions. Dr. McDaniel-Desarmes has been one of those Dr. She listens, and she is always kind, never in a hurry. I feel heard. She is one of the good ones.

She wasnt personable. I always felt like I bothered her. She will interrupt me and give a condescending answer to my question. I switched her when I realized I could and boy, best decision ever made. She may be a doctor, but she needs to learn how to interact holistically and conscientiously with people.

We took our son in because we thought he might have strep throat. They did a culture and it came back negative. 9 days later we got a bill in the mail for a strep throat culture which prompted me to call the urgent care facility. They said he did have Strep throat and had tried to contact us and had left messages. We never received any calls or messages. After they had called twice they said they just closed the account out. We will never go back to this facility again.
