Dr. Aks took the time to really listen and he was very nice. I was not rushed, and he did a thorough exam. I have no doubt that his treatment will be successful. He truly cared!

I saw Doctor Aks for a right shoulder problem I had been having for several months. Doctor Aks was very pleasant, prompt and courteous and did a thorough examination. He referred me to another specialist who provided the correct diagnosis and treatment for me. I was very satisfied with Doctor Aks's I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Aks is an amazing doctor and has done so much to help me. I have a rare neurological condition in which myelin was destroyed on my spine. My life can be hard sometimes, and having a doctor that cares and helps is a true blessing. He keeps up with new technology and recently performed a procedure on my hip with outstanding results.

Dr. Aks was not prepared for the appointment and clearly had not reviewed any of my mom's medical records. He seemed confused as to why we were even there and did not listen very well when we tried to explain her story. We had the disc which contained all of her MRI images and he did not even bother to look at them. I am a medical student, and if I interacted with a standardized patient the way he interacted with us I would fail and be forced to remediate. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I was experiencing pain in my rt hip. I met with Dr. Aks for some time to discuss regenerative medicine. Dr. Aks recommended a Lipogerms Procedure (a regenerative medicine procedure) as an alternative to joint replacement surgery. I underwent this procedure on October 26, 2018. Dr. Aks performed this procedure and I am well satisfied. I am able to report the Lipogems procedure performed by Dr. Aks was a success. I am now able to perform my daily activities pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Aks.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Aks for approximately 3 years for back and neck pain due to various injuries over the years. I just couldn’t think of another Dr. that listens, cares and truly tries to help. He’ Do everything in his power to help.

I drove an hour to see him for an office consult that lasted about 5 minutes. He was rude, he kept interrupting me, and would not listen to me on why I was referred to him. I was in tears by the time I got back to my car after the appointment. He was just so mean. I will not go back, and will never refer anyone to him.

I was in for my first visit with this Doctor. First thing he said to me when he walked in was "What are you doing on my schedule"? It never got better. I decided I would be better off finding a different doctor.

I don't recommend Dr. Aks or the KC Pain Clinic. I went to see them in great pain and all that Dr. Aks did was tell me I needed to see other physicians. He did absolutely nothing to treat my pain. Oh yeah, he also billed my insurance $195 -to which I owe a portion. Save yourself time and trouble and go somewhere else.
