Do Not See This Doctor
I saw Dr. Boey a number of years ago. He led me down a path - of not - getting a correct diagnosis, and he did not follow up with my case. He did not help me get the treatment that I needed. If you are smart, you will not see this doctor.

He performed an emergency throat abscess removal for me yesterday. Very knowledgeable, courteous, transparent and compassionate. A delicate and painful procedure that he made as pleasant as could possibly be expected. Kudos to Nurse Nany and Dr. Chi as well.

Dr. Boey is not like most other doctors. He is old school. The kind of doctor everyone wishes they could have. He is kind, and cares about his patients. Of course he is talented and extremely smart. I would trust my life and health in his hands. Thank you, Dr. Boey, for being as awesome as you are. And P.S. - did I have to wait long to see him? Yes, I did. Was it worth it? Oh yes!

One of the best ways to judge a physician is by the esteem of his colleagues. Having met in conferences with him and our oncology staff at MidState Medical Center, I can attest that Dr. Boey is highly regarded for his surgical judgment and expertise.

Dr. Boey is a very pleasant and knowledgeable doctor. I have had several different issues since I started to see him a few years ago at Southern New England ENT, He not only takes the time doing the exam and procedures to make sure I have the best possible care but he explains everything to you in great detail. He has a great bedside manner and a sense of humor. I highly recommend Dr. Boey. He is affiliated with Midstate, Middlesex and Yale. Please see him if you have any concerns or questions regarding your health in his area of expertise. The office staff at Midstate in Meriden are wonderful as well. Mike

Dr. Boey is a fine ENT. He has treated me for several years, to my total satisfaction. The office staff and scheduling dept. are another story. I am totally fed up dealing with the run-around, cancelled appointments, and sheer rudeness in the office. I need to find another doctor. I only wish he would leave SNEENT and open a private practice. My 5-star rating is for Dr. Boey only.

Dr. Boey is an agreeable, down-to-earth guy and a very good doctor. I suffered from otitis in my ear canals for 15 years. Other doctors cleaned it up; Dr. Boey cured it.

I was referred to this office for an emergency sinus issue back in July 0f 2017. I had to wait 7 weeks for an appointment and that was cancelled by the office. I rescheduled for another 6 weeks out, which was the soonest I could acquire another appt. and they cancelled again. When I was frustrated with this process and told the receptionist that this was not a fair way to be treated by them, she hung up on me. DO NOT TRY TO SEE THIS PHYSICIAN IF YOU ARE IN DIRE STRAITS.

I went to see Dr. Boey today in the Mid State Hospital office. I was very impressed with him as he did a small procedure and asked a few times if I was ok. Took time to tell me what he thought (in layman's terms) and was VERY courteous and considerate of my questions/needs. I am going to have a Cats Scan done, which he recommended, and he said he would call with results - I'm sure he will. I would recommend him HIGHLY. He IS worth the wait.

very good bedside manners..Thorough. Unfortunately like probably most drs visits seem to be quick and rushed. Was a little annoyed because it seemed as this particular visit he didn't have much to offer. Still in pain.
