Dr. Howard Morgan Jr, MD

Dr. Morgan utilizing micro-surgery techniques removed an C-5 to T-4 intramedulary ependemoa with polar cysts back in 1996. He and his team with 9 hours of surgery, removed the 11-inch benign tumor that was located inside, in the middle of my spinal cord. Access to the tumor required laminectomy of same vertebra. I was 35 year old at the time. He followed me for 3 years as I had to relearn to walk and control body functions, and I had no recurrence which he concluded I was cured. 24 years later, I am doing good and highly recommend Dr. Morgan.

Dr Morgan did Chiare surgery surgery for me in 2009. He is a wonderful doctor and made my life bearable after recovery. I have not had any trouble since my surgery. I would highly recommend him!!! I would rate him a 5

This man is awesome!

When I blew out 2 discs in my neck, the then #2 at UTSW told me that Dr. M was the only surgeon he would let touch my neck. He was conservative and had me try several other options pre-surgery but then when nothing else worked, he fused three vertebrae and put a titanium plate in. I have been symptom free ever since (12 years) and returned to a very active lifestyle of mtn biking and adventure sports. I have talked to numerous others who have had Dr. M do surgery and they also recommend.

Dr. Morgan performed 2 spinal surgeries for me in 2010 to remove 2 tumors at C4-C5. I was just a teenager at the time never felt out of the loop. He explained everything to me and was very straightforward. He is straight faced and all bussiness, but he does have good bedside manners. I saw him every 3-6 months for 3 years and am very thankful for him! Wonderful doctor, wonderful team!

The worst excuse for a dictor ever. After sending in my records for review to even be admitted as a patient, he spoke maybe 10 words didn't look or touch my back and told me he wouldn't recommend surgery! see you later! He seriously could have told me that, and not admittied me as a patient, over the phone. It would have saved me money and time and my insurance money! He doesn't care anymore. He is not interested in keeping a patient base. He is ready to retire.
