(I don’t know if my review went through, so I’ll write it again. After my visit with Dr Zipin I was apprehensive about the fifty percent cutback he made in my Rivaroxaban prescription that had protected me from blood clots for the past ten years. Shortly after that cutback I was hospitalized with severe blood clots at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. After 3 days on Heparin I was released and am now following a 21-day recovery protocol on 30 mg if Rivaroxan in two daily 15 mg doses. My recovery seems to be going well though two of my doctors told me I have to be careful in my regular exercising. My primary care physician Dr. Margaret Eichman of Hunterdon Health was so displeased by Dr Zipin’s cutback on my blood thinner that she sent him the entire report of my hospitalization to demonstrate its result. The surgery that was scheduled for last week has been put off for 3 months at the order of the cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center.

We felt very comfortable from the moment we met Dr. Zipin . We feel that liking and having confidence in your doctors is half the battle. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Zipin and his staff. Thank you.

The visit was ok, but the next week his PA recommended a procedure that I didn’t feel comfortable doing.A little more explanation of why would have helped.

6 month check-up

Dr Zipin takes time to listen to my concerns and returns messages in a timely manner. He helped me to adjust my diet to avoid one of my side effects early in my treatment.

His kindness

Seeing Dr Zipin is always a pleasure. Stays in the waiting room are short & Dr Zipin is always pleasant & reassuring. He truly has excellent bedside manner.

First I was able to get a quick appointment which in this day is unheard of. The front desk person was very nice . Dr Z put me at ease right away and answered all my questions. He listened and offered his opinion even though it wasn’t his purview. Also unlike other doctors he ordered labs and didn’t require me to make an appointment just to go over results if they are normal .

I was having a six-month checkup and a review of a recent PET scan. All went well.

Dr Zipin is very straight forward while showing empathy when discussing the situation. He appears extremely experienced and knowledgeable.

Dr. Zipin has an excellent knack for not only describing situations in medical terms, but also in real every-day terms by the use of non-medical analogies. I trust his advice & treatment decisions 100%.

Dr. Zipin was very personable and explained how I stood in our first visit. He also noted how compatible I was to the immunotherapy. At the first visit, it was noted that I had stage four lung cancer. There was also a few tumors in my brain, and I was in recommended to a another doctor along with him.. Based on the last pet scans, there appears to be no cancer in my body at this point, and we will continue with the treatments to be sure all is well. I gave his techniques 200% since he has possibly saved my life.

Dr Zipin took time to discuss my concerns and answer questions. I did not feel as if my appointment was something to just get through. He genuinely listened—unfortunately, not all doctors are like this.
