I'm impressed with Dr Brock's knowledge. His ability to communicate what I needed to know to make the best decisions about my medical needs. I felt very comfortable with his recommendations.

Dr Brock you are the BEST hip doctor ever!!
Most patient and honest doctor, explains in detail, listens to your needs. I had a full posterior hip replacement and recovered in 3 weeks , limited discomfort and I wish you were still in NM Dr. Brock! I had utmost confidence in you ! ( I was your patient that wrote a scripture on my leg for you and staff. )Thank you! Wish you could do my next one, but you are in Colorado. Anyway, best hip doctor ever! God bless you always.

Does not perform Anterior hip surgery
Unfortunately this is a second hip surgery on the opposite leg. My 1st surgery was an anterior approach. Dr. Brock does posterior approach. This is a much more painful surgery for the patient and longer recovery. With my anterior I had no pain, was walking well within a week and down to one crutch. I am a week out with still incredible pain, definitely 2 crutches, and not sleeping because you have to sleep in a recliner. I also have a screw in my hip which wasn't needed with the 1st surgery. Very disappointed with this surgery.

Dr. Brock did an excellent job with my 15 year old son who broke his hand. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do and made sure my son understand everything too! Thank you, Dr. Brock

I'm sure Dr. Brock is an excellent and dedicated surgeon but if you are not quite at the point of surgery, you should look elsewhere for a practice that has more attention to detail especially in insurance requests, better communication for both staff and doctor and an office that actively uses and responds to patients through their MedFusion patient portal. 2-way communication is non-existent.

Worst!!! He had no interest in hearing my symptoms just was focused on sending me to another physician/surgeon. The MRI he said he would request was denied because he did not provide enough details to the insurance provider. When I tried to contact him or his staff they would not return my calls. This resulted in me having to wait twice as long in severe pain for treatment. Very disappointed in someone who has taken an oath to not harm but help people.

Dr Brock performed a total left hip replacement on me 4 years ago at Rust Medical Center. He totally won my trust in his decision making and his abilities. I would highly recommend him to anyone for any orthopedic surgery needed.
