Ingrown Toenail Infection Treatment
Dr. Perez was very professional and experienced in his field. He examined my infected ingrown toenails. I was very nice, explaining the procedure and the post-preventative care. He also reassured me the ingrown would not come back. That made me feel secure in making the right decision. I trust Dr. Perez with my ingrown and, would highly recommend him to any one that has any issues with their feet. My ingrown have recovered great, no medical issues, and they look great! Thank you Dr. Perez you're the Best.

I saw Dr. Hugo Perez when he was at the University of California Davis medical Center. This was back in 2016. I really liked him. Excellent bedside manner! Too bad he did not join Sacramento foot and ankle Center. I can’t help with that forget or wonder where he went to podiatry school at though.

I visited Dr. Perez Office and I couldn't be more satisfied with his medical advice, treatment plan, and medical feedback. I'm not sure what everyone is talking about, Dr. Perez was kind, respectful, and funny. His staff was amazing, on-time, and the exam rooms were-nicely kept. I highly recommend Dr. Perez, well trained, and a professional medical foot doctor.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. After spending a year in pain following a fracture in my foot, I was so happy when Dr. Perez found a piece of bone floating in the joint space on x-ray. He recommended surgery to remove the bone. Long story short, he botched the surgery. He cut through my nerves and damaged a tendon...and didn't get all of the bone out. I had to have two more surgeries to fix his terrible work. So much more to this story but no room here. Be warned!

He was 30 min late then talked about how he's behind & tired of this & wants to leave. He talked broadly & randomly about heel pain & rambled a lot. I interrupted to ask if he's seen my chart & was he trying to say I have Plantar Fasciitis (without looking at xray OR my feet OR asking anything about why I was there) I couldn't get a straight answer from him. When leaving, nurses said he's always running late. Expensive waste of my time. He cuts you off when trying to ask something.

I have been in a lot of ankle pain that I have had three surgeries on be for seeing him. I told him that I want to try proventing another one. He told me to wear my brace and shoes all day to see if that helps. When I went back in and told him it wasn't. He looked at the x-ray and showed me what was going on. After the CT scan he was able to see more of what was going on. He listens to what I have to say and he explains what is going on and what needs to be done. He spends time with you.

This Doctor does not want to help patients with plantar fasciitis. PERIOD. He dropped F-bombs throughout my entire visit. Very unprofessional for a UCD doctor. I thought they had higher standards than that. I hope he's been drug tested. He assumed because of they way I looked that it was okay to use that language and it wasn't. If he doesn't want to treat patient's with PF, then he shouldn't work in a Podiatry office. I'm in extreme pain and I waited 2 weeks to see him for help.

Dr. Perez is fantastic! I saw him for an ingrown toenail removal and not only was he knowledgeable and gentle (I didn't feel a thing), he is hilarious which distracts you from the work he is doing. Dr. Perez listened to all of my concerns and was very honest with me about what to expect. He does not sugar coat things and gives realistic expectations, which I greatly appreciate. I will definitely be returning to see him for any podiatry services I will need in the future

I saw Dr Perez after I injured my foot on some dumb-bells. I was in a great deal of pain. After having to wear a boot for 2 weeks I was getting ready to leave for vacation which included hiking. He had me bring my shoes into his office where he put pads in them. After every day hike my husband and I went on he would complain that his feet were killing him. I on the other hand had no pain or swelling and my feet were not sore. I followed his instructions to the T and am so glad I did. great doc

I have plantar fasciitis. Dr. Perez did not examine my feet. Nor was he willing or able to provide clear rationale for his very general commendations for footwear. His basic point was that supportive footwear needs to be worn at all times. This is straightforward. What I didn't understand and what he was unable to explain was why shoes without heels are less supportive than shoes with heels, assuming equal stiffness and lift. He became frustrated and just left the room. Strange.

Dr. Perez needs to get out of his own arrogant head and try listening to the patient. He is a foot doctor and not once did he look at my feet, however spent our whole visit (10mins) talking about how most of his patients come back with no improvement because they don't take him serious (that was the only thing that came out of his mouth that made sense)..how do you trust a Podiatrist who doesn't even look at your feet.
