Sooo glad we 'found' him!
Two years ago, my wife had a debilitating shingles attack IN her left eye and side of her face into the scalp. After an emergency trip by ambulance to the Univesity of Texas Medical Branch, she was attended to by several eye specialists. One of the specialists referred my wife to Dr. Kahn (a cornea specialist) who was also serving in the UTMB facility. She had numerous lesions on her cornea and diagnosis and treatment by Dr Kahn was key to saving her vision. My wife's treatment is continuing with the most recent opportunities by Dr. Kahn, to be able to use the most state of the art equipment and techniques (his long awaited dream) to provide the best and most up to date care for his patients. My wife's vision is slowly improving, and it is Dr. Kahn's intention to bring her vision to the best it can possibly be. We drive about an hour and a half to see Dr. Kahn and feel it is time well spent seeing him and getting the best possible care for my wife.

Great vision after RLE
I was not a candidate for LASIK, but Dr. Khan gave me an exciting new option called RLE. After surgery I can see well for far and near vision. It’s amazing not to need any glasses! My vision is better than its ever been my whole life.

Dr. Khan did cataract surgeries on both my eyes. My vision is so sharp now - no glasses needed! It took less than 10 minutes for the surgery. Easy and no pain.

Perfect vision
I’m young enough that I don’t have large cataracts. I wanted to see without needing any glasses at all. I was previously told by other doctors that I was not a good LASIK candidate. Dr. Khan told me about RLE which means refractive lens exchange. No other doctor told me about that option in the past. Now I’m seeing perfect without any glasses!!!!

Great doctor & excellent surgery
Since having cataract surgery with Dr. Khan, I now understand why he has such a high demand for his services. He was highly recommended to me by another council member. Excellent surgeon and great bedside manner. I was nervous but his calming voice made me feel at ease during the surgery. I am seeing 2020for driving and 2020 for reading. I’m a government official so my vision is particularly important for me. Thank you Dr. Khan.

Quick painless cataract surgery
I was having difficulty with reading. Dr. khan took a look and told me about cataracts. Next I got the surgery and paid for the premium multifocality lens. Surgery was quick and painless. Dr. khan was calm and made me feel comfortable. I can see without glasses after the surgery.

Great doctor
Dr. Khan did my cataract surgery and corneal transplant. Before I saw Dr khan I had surgery with a glaucoma doctor and she made my cornea swollen and my eyesight was bleary. Dr khan fixed her mistake and now I see very well. Thank you Dr khan and your staff.

Excellent
I had LASIK done years ago, which helped my vision greatly. I recently developed cataracts. This made it tough to drive and and do my hobby - which is to read books. Dr. Khan did special imaging to find the lens I needed. We got the multifocal lens and now I don’t need glasses at all! Very pleased with my vision

Thanks doctor
My eye had a bad chemical burn. Doctor khan saw me many times until he was able to heal the surface of my eye. It used to hurt and water all the time at first. Doctor khan kept seeing me until it was better. Then he did surgery for the cataract. It was fast and easy. Good job fixing my eye.

Great eye doctor
My family member lost his vision in both eyes. We were scared. First we saw an optometrist for 2 months. The vision kept getting worse. She kept saying “just dry eye”. Then we Saw Dr khan ophthalmologist and he looked at it and made the diagnosis right away - vitamin a deficiency! He admitted to the hospital and after some days the lab work showed very low vitamin a! Thank you Dr khan for figuring it out for us

LASIK and cataract surgery went great
I had my cataract surgery done by Dr. Khan. Everything was easy. recovery was quick. My vision was great after the surgery. That made it easier to care for my cattle and crops. I told my daughter to see Dr. Khan for LASIK. She got her done. After LASIK she is 20 20 in both eyes and still is great 1 year later . My wife goes to him for her exams now. This young buck is now officially our family’s eye doctor yeehaw

Eyes are much better
I had extremely red eyes and tearing all the time. I went to multiple other eye doctors and they could not fix my problem. After I saw Dr. Khan he gave me special eye drops from a compound pharmacy. I followed all his instructions and everything got much better. I can go outside without feeling worried about my eyes appearance.
