Dr. Humberto Machado Jr, MD

After reading the reviews , I’m a bit apprehensive about seeing him next week.

I just recently start visiting this doctor and the staff is very attentive and take care of your needs. My father recommend him to me and I do the same for people that need a cardiologist. They are doing the best to take care of my situation.

He has A LOT of patients, so the wait time is pretty long

He was my cardiologist, for several years, One day I did not take my blood pressure medicines and obviously, the pressure was a little bit high, Dr. Machado gave me a new prescription, and after less than a year affected my kindness, As a conscience I have to see an specialist and he asked me to discontinue the medicine that that Dr. Macahdo gave me. Thus, I decided to leaved Dr, Machado for good.

My appointment was at 8:00, got there on time. At 9:00. they informed me that they did not have my referral, at 9:15 I actually had to ask for the paperwork to be completed as a new patient. In the meantime there is laughter and conversation in the office. Never saw the doctor, could not trust such an irresponsible staff, just left.

Haven't seen Dr Machado in over 2 years because apparently only his PA's see patients. On my latest (and last) visit, in turn PA told me to stop using Digoxin. On his opinion it is an obsolete medicine. These type of Doctors play with you life. 2 weeks later I had pulmonary edema and I had to go back to the ER.

The staff do not return calls and do not send prescriptions to primary physicians for service authorizations.

After seen by the 'doctor' and after the copay was covered his office keep sending bills for the same copay EVERY SINGLE MONTH AFTER the one and only consult that I had with him. The phone number (855-896-0718) to discuss the bill is NEVER his accountant is an advertisement of a travel agency, a restaurant, or coffee parlor. There is another number (855-849-4613) that NO ONE EVER ANSWERS, with perennial elevator music. And if you call the office to discuss the bill, their answer is that those matters can not be discussed there. The worst part is that they keep creating charges out of their mind so they can continue collecting funds out of the patient EVENTHOUGH they have been covered by the insurance. This Machado Junior is NOTHING like his father. The lack of professionalism and ethics is disgusting with the Junior.

Dr. Machado you have to tell the others Dr who worked with you to introduce themselves to patient., because you always have different Cardiologist . Today 12/3/18 in the room I asked the man who you are ? And he answered me the Dr ok fine you are the Dr but what is your name ? And he told me his name . No professional at all. The previous visit of this one the Dr was very profesional said ; Hi , how are you I am the Dr ..... And the office staff they need training for customer service.

Unprofessional,arrogant,don’t waste your time.

On the first date I realized that he is an excellent professional. He knows how to reach the patient with great ease.

scary. came in the exam room late and in a hurry. reviewed the chart, asked me very little and ordered many tests. before leaving mentioned something that i would die if i did not have the tests he had ordered. WOW!
