Podiatrist needed
When I sustained an injury to my foot and ankle I went to the V.A. HOSPITAL IN BALTIMORE and was blessed to meet this phenomenal Dr. Abawi who treated me like I was a person that really needed her expertise. She got all of the imaging that she needed and planned out the surgical procedure that would best benefit me long term. I am truly thankful that God blessed her with the passion and compassion to help others in this field called PODIATRY. Even with my follow up visits she still shows that she is true to her calling . I highly recommend this Dr. for your PODIATRY needs.

Extremely
Dr. Abawi took extra time comma called another physician, and looked up records from another office. She is very astute, took time with me, personable, incompetent. I liked her a lot and well, indeed to go back to her.

She is Amazing
Dr. Abawi honestly helped to save my daughter's life. She suffered from a bone infection that other clinicians missed, and Dr. Abawi came in and did multiple emergency surgeries while troubleshooting a number of factors. My family is truly thankful for her guidance and expertise and can't thank her enough

Dr. Abawi saw me for my ankle pain, watched me walk in clinic and explained how my walking pattern effected my feet. I did not want surgery and she reviewed all the non- surgical options in length. If conservative measures failed surgical options were discussed. She went online during the visit reviewed examples of different shoes I could wear around my home. She had a resident with her in showed a passion to each future doctors. Nurse was helpful throughout the visit. Her office at Camden was beautiful. Definitely worth the wait

Dr. Abawi was amazing when i saw her in clinic. I had several previous doctors who i had seen and could not help me with my feet problems. Dr. Abawi spent time with me and explained the totally of my problem. She treats everyone of his patients like family and does the best of his ability to help them.

My “virtual” appointment was scheduled for 1:15 pm. I was told I would receive a text with a link to the video which I did not. I started the phone calls to the facility and after 30 minutes reached someone who actually helped. She advised the doctor was running behind so that might have been the problem. She connected me with her staff who sent the link. I sat on a video conference waiting for the doctor until 3:45 pm, then hung up because of how dumb I was to wait that long. Have some respect, I took leave from work to have this initial appointment. Your time is no more valuable then anyone else’s.

If we could shower Dr. Abawi with 1000+ stars we would. I will try to keep this short. Parents worst nightmare. Son across the country first semester of college. Receive a call from university of Maryland emergency room. Son in emergency surgery in attempt to save his foot. Full weight of a GRAND PIANO was dropped onto his foot literally an explosion to his foot. The condition of his foot at the time of surgery was severe. We were not given much hope. After hours of a MIRACULOUS surgery performed by Dr. Abawi, many pins, casts, and months of PT later... HE IS BACK TO DOING ALL THE THINGS HE LOVES. Walking, biking, skateboarding and RUNNING!! We are FOREVER GRATEFUL to Dr. Abawi and to the University of Maryland emergency room team of nurses and staff. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr. Abawi fixed peroneal tendons and arthritis in my left ankle and put plates and screws in some metatarsals in that foot, then 6 months later did the same on the other side. I don't know what could have gone better. I'll give her 5 stars, but only because I can't give her 6.

She does not follow up with phone calls, it takes days or weeks for her to call you back. She is good with diagnosis but not experienced with treatment.

Abawi was very nice during appointment and I believe she did an ok job (no results yet), but she didnt spend time to explain everything. However, her office staff is a train wreck. I have never had a worse time scheduling appointments, they do not inform you of them I had to call to find out I was scheduled. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful over the phone, except Megan at the College Park location. Next time will avoid the university system and go to a private physician

Dr. Abawi has been PHENOMENAL while treating my sons clubbed feet, and the relapse of his clubbed feet. She has a wonderful attitude, and an obvious passion for what she does. She practices in many offices and is always willing to fit us in if we needs a sooner appointment then planned. My husband and I drive over an hour every week to see her for our sons castings, and we are happy to do it. Dr Abawi has shown nothing but respect and a tender hand when dealing with my young son. WONDERFUL!
