Dr. Hunter Stenzel, DO

Dr. Stenzel has been my primary care physician for several years. He’s very nice. I like that he isn’t judgy. I’ve never felt rushed, and he answers questions thoroughly. The only problem I’ve ever had is receiving return calls from his staff (in particular for refills and associated prescription problems). It was easier to just go into the office than wait for a call back.

Dr Stenzel is helpful, not particularly chatty but good at explaining. He takes his time and doesn't rush through an appointment.His office staff have problems with follow through. I needed a medical form for work, it's been two weeks and absolutely no progress on gritting that filed. I needed prior authorization on a prescription, and absolutely no progress on that, either. I'm just glad it's not a life or death situation. We never see bills, but just get told there's a balance when we come for an appointment.Good doctor. He deserves more effective staff.

Staff refused to send forms to BCBS to get prior authorization for my diabetic sensors after script was called in. Request was denied due to lack of cooperation from his office. After BCBS called and chewed them out they did it but an appeal takes up to 30 days. They also called me and said it was all my fault. Unbelievable!

A doctor should realize one cannot cut off a new patient's refill of glaucoma drops without giving a patient time to get an appointment with an eye doctor. I do not have clout to go into an eye doctor's office immediately for an appointment. He might as well have taken away my diabetes medicine or some other major medication. ACN

Doctor was moderately ok… but the office staff was not helpful at all.

Called on a Friday for antibotic prescription refill, doctor gone till Monday. Front desk took name, DOB & prescription info. Monday morning called them, no record of me calling them on Friday. Kept calm gave them my info again, they would mark urgent on note to doc. Late afternoon called again gave info again. Told could not get prescription refilled until I meet with doc. Asked why I was not told this Friday or Monday morning I would have made a appointment asap. Silence...swallowed my frustration asked when I could see the doctor, 1st appointment Thursday, almost a week after I originally called. Told desk attendant forgot it, will find a new doctor. "Okay" & she hung up. Great customer service from Dr. Stenzel, his office staff & Infinity Healthcare.

I'm a former patient of Dr Stenzel and just Recently found his new office didn't realize he had moved Definitely will be contacting him soon for a visit He Is very professional in his Job And Is Always Available To Seem To Be In Direct Contact When His Clients Have Questions Or Concerns I Give Dr Stenzel A 5Star Rating As A Doctor

Very little wait time. Dr. Stenzel is very personable, through, welcomes questions and answers them well. I never feel rushed. I am so happy to be a patient of Dr. Stenzel!

The best

Yesterday was my first time seeing Dr. Stenzel and can not say enough good things about him. He is by far the best doctor I have ever seen. He took care of all my needs, reassured me and treated me with such kindness. Thank you Dr Stenzel.

Dr. Stenzel has been a wonderful doctor for both me and my husband. He always patiently listens and tries his best to resolve what ever problem we may have. He is the best doctor we have ever been to!

Dr Stenzel has been my new primary care doctor for a year now. He is great. Really listens to you & makes you feel very comfortable.
