I love Dr Dunn and his staff. He had to tell me bad news but was comforting doing so....

While I would have appreciated additional time to discuss the surgical procedure with the provider, and while the visit itself did feel slightly rushed, I don't believe this to be a poor reflection on the provider. He showed great interest in my questions and even showed an understanding of the feelings often associated with this procedure. Rather, I feel like any wishes I had for greater interaction with the provider can be attributed to the clinic process and the urgency to see other patients.

He made me feel like my symptoms weren't truthful. His questions were confusing and I was at the point I just wanted to stop the rest of the visit. I didn't go hoping to be told I needed surgery again. I appreciate everything Dr. Dunn did to help me the first time. I feel like I deserved a better experience.

Again Dr. Dunn and his team were amazing. I went in completely scared to death at the thought of surgery. He took his time to tell me the all about what the procedure would consist of including potential risks, the average hospital stay after the procedure as well as average downtime. He was very informative and not pushy for me to make a decision that day.

Felt like Dr. Dunn Answered more questions in 10 minutes than I've been able to get from other doctors in 10 years. Very professional and approachable, made me feel comfortable.

My daughter was declining rapidly, beginning with failure to thrive. Initially Dr. D recognized that previous testing could be interpreted as either normal or abnormal, but her condition (& dysfunctional shunt) definitely warranted intervention. He seemed sincerely concerned, we trusted he could treat an outlier. Critical months passed, communication was tedious. Word came he would not take her case. (More info was leaked). A refusal should be TIMELY! If he seems dismissive, move on...quickly!

I loved Dr. Dunn's huge hands and his willingness to just do a biopsy on my sinus tumor without doing anything else. Unfortunately much as I loved Dr. Dunn, I felt betrayed after that. He did not tell me that proton beam therapy could have killed my tumor without surgery. Just before my scheduled surgery I asked his assistant about the prognosis for my surgery, the assistant admitted they had none!! My sinus cancer became dormant after proton beam therapy.

I ignored the bad reviews figuring the reputation of the doctor was worth it. So wrong. 9:30 appointment, the doctor ended up having a emergency so did not see us until almost 12:30. i get that, can't be helped. He is rushed and spends not even 10 minutes with us. He refers us to a neurologist. He says his office will make the appointment. MacKenzie says she (or the Neurology Dept) will call us. I ask if I can call, she says no it is fine, they do it. Easy great service right!? They never call.

As a health care provider myself, I know when I meet a truly gifted doctor/surgeon. He operated on my mother's brain tumor and exemplified everything you would want in a surgeon: compassion, knowledge, skill, bedside manner, and the best surgical team one could assemble!!

Six months for this doctor to determine if patient was eligible for shunt treatment of normal pressure hydrocephalus. Doctor Dunn seems like he may be an excellent Doctor but his office is so disorganized that it borders on negligence. Once drove an hour and a half to our appointment to find out Doctor was on vacation. Waited weeks for call backs. I know that medical determinations and process can be dragged out but this was three times longer than it should be because of negligent support staff

In October 2013, Dr. Dunn successfully removed a large (baseball size) meningioma from my brain. The surgery was very complicated and risky due to the tumor's location and involvement with my optic nerve. The surgery took 16 hours to perform and my vision is back to normal and I am tumor free. Aside from being an excellent surgeon, Dr. Dunn is genuinely a wonderful person. I have referred to other people to him for similar surgeries.
