Really great doctor.
He cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable. I have had two procedures with him and they were great. You don’t feel a thing. I wish all doctors were like him.

A really wonderful doctor
Speaking with Dr. Katz was worth its weight in gold. I'm in the process of treating some pretty unattractive spider veins and decided to prioritize treatment this year. I'm about 4 days post-procedure and everything looks great. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Katz gave me peace of mind by explaining the vein procedures and treatment options in detail and answering all my questions with patience. He’s extremely knowledgable of the space and I plan to schedule a follow up visit in the coming days.

A Wonderful Experience with Dr. Katz
I had a really positive experience with Dr. Katz. The vein treatment and was virtually painless and the results were tremendous (I’m about two weeks post-procedure). Dr. Katz is very easy going, he did a great job explaining everything / answering all of my questions, and I was impressed by how rich of an understanding he has with various treatment options. Looking at my legs today - the results are outstanding! I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone. Also, for anyone driving to Emory - I found free parking across the street near Whole Foods!!

I had spider veins for a while and I started to have circulation problems. My doctor recommended me over to Dr. Katz and am really happy that he made the referral. The experience was very pleasant. Dekalb Vein Center's staff was extremely friendly and most importantly, Dr. Katz did a great job with the procedure. His office felt very clean and very safe (in terms of Covid). I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a check up concerning their veins. Vale la pena mencionar que cuentan con personal fluido en español, en mi caso me ayudó mucho con términos médicos que no entendía

I’ve visited Dr. Katz several times in the past and have had a great experience each time. In response to injuries, Dr. Katz gave me stitches on my knee and above my eyebrow. When I saw him, he was friendly and gave a thorough explanation of what he was going to do and how to care for my injuries afterwards as well as when to follow up. I’m extremely satisfied with his treatment as no one can tell I had stitches on my face and there are minimal indications on my knee despite a larger wound. I’d quickly recommend others to Dr. Katz both for bedside manner and quality of care.

My legs were bothering me for years. I had ugly spider veins and my legs just always felt heavy and achy. Every day tasks like walking in the grocery store or in the parking lot were becoming increasingly more difficult. I finally made an appointment with Dr. Katz and am glad that I did. It isn't often that a doctor takes the time to really listen to what I have to say. I didn't feel rushed and I feld heard. Dr. Katz explained the various procedures that could be done to help me with the symptoms that I had been experiencing for so long with my legs. I had a venous closure procedure because it was the best fit for my situation. I also learned that its one of the newest and most effective treatments available. Everything was relatively quick (about 45 minutes!). I had a follow up about 2 weeks later and am very pleased with the results. I feel like a new person!

They are the most awesome practice. Front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic, and the doctor has that perfect (but often hard to find) combination of experienced competence and pleasant "bedside manner." All my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable with the procedure (which was new to me). HIGHLY recommend!

I reached out to Dr. Katz in June for a sclerotherapy treatment. The receptionist was able to pencil me in with a few days and am very happy with the results. Relatively painless (I'd say as painless as a medical procedure can be!). One thing unrelated - the parking threw me off. I may have parked in the wrong deck, but I'd say to get there 15 minutes early because the hospital complex can be a little confusing.

I had a venous closure in the office of Dr. Katz. Dr. Katz performed the procedure which took twice as long as he said it would take. After the procedure, I was left in the room by myself to get dressed. As I was getting off the table, I collapsed falling to the floor and could not feel my legs. I cried out for help. The doctor did not come back to check on me! Only the sonographer came in to help me along with a young woman working in the office, who was NOT a nurse. The sonographer helped me get into a chair and get me some water. I was extremely dizzy and nauseous. They told me I could go home as soon as I could get dressed. I stumbled out of the room into the waiting room. Luckily, my husband was waiting for me and took me home. I was dizzy and nauseous for the next three weeks. No one from the office ever called me to check up on me. I have never been to a less caring place! I will never go here again. I went to my primary care doctor and reported this to him.

Dr. Katz did a lymph node biopsy and placed a port for chemo. He often saw me at no extra charge to help me resolve lymph node biopsy site leakage. He even checked on me by phone on a Sunday!! Showed compassion & demonstrated expertise.

I was misdiagnosed and mistreated after surgery for 6 weeks and only to find out it was wrong diagnosed and unnecessary surgery. Suffer with lots of pain, time, and effort due to the office is a training facility for preMed students. Both radiologist and Dr Katz & Students misread the CT scan. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Dr. Katz was patronizing and treated me like I was unintelligent. He called a lump I had in the armpit/ breast area “unimpressive”. I was explaining my believes in why I don’t use a certain product and his response was “oh so you’re a scientist now”. He felt around and said he could see but could not feel the mass I have. A student doctor, who was shadowing him, could easily feel and see the mass. I will be going with a different doctor as the whole experience was unessisarly cold.

Dr. Katz is awesome. He spent a lot of time helping us understand the blood flow in the legs and help me understand that my issue was bigger than spider veins which is what I have going in to have treated. He explained what he was looking at and had suggestions that he provided. There was no pressure to do anything differently or to do anything else then. He really knows his stuff and I have made another appointment to go back. Great office staff also.

Dr. Katz is the best surgeon I have come across so far. First, his office is very clean and friendly, which I love. I am so comfortable when I am there. I know that I will be taken care of. The front desk staff is also amazing. Dr. Katz not only explains thoroughly my procedure, but my pre-op and post-op visits are so thorough and detailed and he makes sure that I am okay 100% of the time. He goes out of his way to give me the best treatment. I always recommend him to my family and friends.

The entire experience was great! Parking was easy and very convenient to Dr. Katz's office. His office staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked Dr. Katz. He was very personable and explained exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. He was very good and very efficient. So far, it looks like I'll get the results I was looking for and I will definitely go back for more treatments!

Great experience at Dekalb Vein Center with Dr. Katz! The staff was very warm and attentive! I had vein ablation done on both legs and am feeling little to no pain in either of my legs. Prior to the procedure, both of my legs would swell and hurt all the time and now I'm looking forward to great looking legs and being able to get back to the gym again.
