Dr. Ian Rosbrugh, MD

I have been under Dr Rosbrughs care since 2018 for IC, PFD, and nerve issues in my pelvic region. Dr Rosbrugh has easily performed over 2 dozen surgeries on me from minor to very extensive. There isn’t a doctor I have ever trusted as much as him. I haven’t ever met a Dr that is so smart AND caring. He will sit with you and say “this sucks. I’m sorry” he. Takes. The. Time. I truly can’t say enough about this doctor. I had multiple surgeons tell me I needed a sacral nerve stimulator- I didn’t trust any of them. The 4th uro I saw was Dr Rosbrugh, after a thorough explanation and ensuring me he would stick with me on this journey I proceeded to get the surgery that year. It gave me my life back after spending all my 20s in bed. He also has a great sense of humor. I am a very colorful person and he accepts me for who I am and takes time to laugh with me. I can talk to him about how the conditions he treats me for impact my other health conditions and he treats the WHOLE me and listens!

I think Dr. Rosbrugh is an excellent dr/surgeon. His medical/surgical knowledge and skill are a great benefit for me and his other patients. He has a respectful, patient demeanor, which I also appreciate as I was uneasy considering my surgery. He put me at more ease and I felt confidence in his ability and experience to be successful.

Doctor Rosbrugh has been caring for my ongoing and complex gynecological problems, primarily pelvic floor issues, for some time now. He does double duty because my husband has been involved with each and every exam, procedure and follow-up. Dr. Rosbrugh not only accepts this "team approach", he welcomes it, with unfailing professionalism, patience and grace. He is simultaneously direct and kind. In short, I have never trusted any physician more than Dr. Rosbrugh and would highly recommend him to anyone, without hesitation.

I had a recent surgery for a total uterine prolapse. I was referred to Dr. Rosbrugh through my primary care doctor. From the first appointment, to the post op to the follow up care, Dr Rosbrugh has been the kind of thorough, kind, compassionate doctor every patient looks for when undergoing a major surgery for the first time. He spent time with me , made sure every single question was answered before I left, was reassuring and also kind. His expertise in his field speaks louder than any review I could give here, but His thoroughness in addressing every issue put my mind further at ease. It took me a little while as a new patient to get in, but it is well worth the wait, to have someone knowledgeable in the field of urogynecology. I would recommend him for any specialized care you may need!

Dr. Rosbrugh is a godsend. He’s a very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. He’s diligent in making sure my health is the best it can be and was knowledgeable with my other rare health issue that even neurosurgeons dismissed. I was shocked at his knowledge that no other Dr that I’ve seen in the Kansas City area acknowledged of being problematic. I mentioned it because I was concerned it was related to my health issue that I was seeing Dr Rosbrugh for. This alone was good for my mental health. I was beginning to think I was crazy. Gave me total peace of mind. I would highly recommend Dr. Rosbrugh to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor/surgeon. Surgery was a total success! I have my life back all thanks to Dr. Rosbrugh!

After a lifetime of issues and every doctor basically telling me that they have no idea what is wrong with me, and misdiagnosing me, this doctor finally got to the bottom of it and told me exactly what was causing my pain and symptoms. He is polite, professional and knows what he is talking about. I highly recommend him.

He is the best! He changed my life with the Interstim Bladder Stimulator and other pelvic reconstructive issues. His approach and interaction with patients is just awesome. I have Bipolar Disorder and at times, I can be very intense. Yet, he knows how to be professional and handle my energy level as well as my ongoing medical issues.

What an excellent doctor ! His bedside manner is priceless he is one of the most compassionate and caring physician I have met, he truly care about his patient and their GYN needs. Never have I felt rushed at an appointment, he answers all my questions never have I left an appointment worried or wondering about anything. I highly recommend his services,

Dr. Rosbrugh really listened to the frustrations I have in every day life dealing with the medical issues. He made me feel very at easy and explained every process in detail. The front office staff is very personable and made the check in process completely painless. Back office staff, nurse, scheduling etc were all spot on!! if I could give him more than five stars I would. He is one of a kind. He is awesome. he takes the time (he really listens) to listen to you, and then he explains in detail what needs to be done. HE IS AWESOME. He is an Angel.
