Very COMPASSIONATE and UNDERSTANDING
Upon presenting at the ER yesterday, in Keene NH, I met Dr. Symons while I was in the triage room. Dr. Symons was very professional and understanding. He spent time talking with me, with the triage nurse, and had me roomed immediately. Dr. Symons came back to my ER room within 5 minutes, and explained the course of action he thought would be best for my presenting diagnosis. He asked me if I would be ok with his plan (which I was) and had me feeling much relief within the next half hour! Dr. Symons followed up twice with me, during my visit, after initiating his plan of care. Dr. S was compassionate, encouraging and treated me with utmost dignity throughout my visit. My ER nurse, Justin, upheld the same standards and was just as amazing. My entire visit was just over 1 hr. and I discharged feeling much better. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Symons, and if I ever have to use the ER services again, I hope I have the opportunity to receive his care. THANK YOU to my ER team on 10/14/23.

Literally yells at patients in pain
It's clear why this guy just bounces between short-staffed ERs in rural areas and no one sees him on purpose. Patient was writhing in pain - he was sneering and cold throughout, telling them it wasn't that serious, and literally yelled at the patient who was apologizing for flinching & resisting his touch. Gave no instructions for follow-up, duration of medication application, etc. Stay away from this guy at all costs if you can avoid it.
