Dr. Ingrid Grove, DO

Dr. Grove excels at thoroughness; she listens, she explains - she is thoughtful, encouraging, positive! She is a "whole person" doctor, who never makes you feel rushed or part of an assembly line. She follows up with genuine interest & concern. Dr. Grove is an exceptional professional whom I feel safe in the care of. I hesitate to share this for selfish reasons, but I want Sutter Health to know how fortunate they are to have Dr. Grove on board. Let me remind folks how exhausted our medical providers are - they work on little sleep & have to squeeze THEIR lives into their professional schedules. If you have an afternoon appointment or later, you can bet your last dollar that your Dr hasn't had a bathroom break or eaten anything yet that day. Be kind - be GRATEFUL! *PS: I'm so appalled by the 1 negative review of Dr. Grove - & anyone reading these reviews should absolutely REJECT that 1 review as coming from someone who is likely chronically impossible to please, grumpy & demanding.

Dr. Grove gets five stars from me every time...and more if I could. I feel like I'm visiting a friend, talking about all that's going on in my life and with my health. She's warm and friendly from the start as well as compassionate and knowledgable. Dr. Grove really listens, never makes you feel rushed and really talks you through every aspect of treatment...not to mention there's always a good laugh each visit. I appreciate her so much.

Inefficient and refuses to use the online messaging system that exists for a reason. Does not thoroughly read or return messages. She prefers in person which would be fine if she wasn't booked 3 months out and I had urgent issues. After politely complaining about it and that I had an urgent matter and have already been to the ER which can only stabilize, not treat (I even ran my message through others to make sure it wasn't over the top), she sent me a threatening letter in the mail that I was "disrespectful" and that if I continue, I would essentially be banned from the office. So, never ever complain or offer any kind of constructive criticism or you will be banned apparently. Extremely disappointing. As a doctor, she should have thicker skin than this. It is my right as a patient to demand care that I am not receieving and should be from my own provider. It's literally in the patients rights document they give you. I have never encountered such ridiculousness.

She took the time to listen to my concerns, and we came up with a plan together. She is easy to talk to and I immediately felt comfortable at our first meeting.

Dr. Grove is personable, professional and knowledgeable. She listens to patients and works with them in a collaborative manner that I really appreciate. The office staff are also wonderful and very responsive to patients questions and concerns. I really feel that they go above and beyond.
