I would like to know who is it that remarked that Dr. Raftopoulos is an unskilled surgeon who does a horrible job. He is one of the most experienced, excellent , caring bariatric surgeons on the face of this earth. I am one of his MANY patients who trust him with my life. He is truly gifted and cares about all of his patients. He gives you his personal cell phone number and his personal e-mail address and is always responding to them in a timely manor. I have recommended him to many people.

My mother had a lap band placed many years ago by a different MD. She suffered so many complications I wouldn't know where to begin. Dr Raftopolous literally saved her life. The band was infected and adhered to her body. I will be forever grateful!

I have started seeing Dr. Raftopoulos for weight loss at his new clinic at Holyoke Medical Center in MA. So far, he has impressed me with his knowledge, his understanding and his willingness to communicate/answer any questions or concerns that I have had. I just began my journey with him, and his wonderful staff, but am looking forward to dealing with all of them at every upcoming appointment.
