I saw Dr. Tassiulas 3 months ago and just happened to look up his reviews and although I was comforted to see that it wasn't just me, I cannot believe this man is a doctor. He laughed at me and was just generally argumentative about my experience. I have never felt so uncomfortable in the room with a medical "professional." I nearly walked out. I never received a followup phone call, email, or message with my test results despite there being values way outside of the normal range. He couldn't listen to one medical complaint without laughing, arguing, or dismissing me. It was embarrassing and made me doubt my mental stability. Please never go here!

When the doctor I wanted to see was booked for two months, the staff suggested I see Dr. Tassiulas for Sjogren's Syndrome as he was the only doctor available the same week. I should have waited. He offered very little advice for my condition and could barely answer questions on the overall condition, preventative measures, and nutrition. Three months after my appointment I still have not received a follow-up call with the results of my 13 blood tests, even after I called and emailed the office several times. Now I know why he was available so quickly. Do your research and find another rheumatologist.

I had the good fortune of being assigned Dr Tassiulas when I visited Mt Sinai hospital for a deformity in my right index finger. He correctly diagnosed the condition and then reviewed my entire medical file with me. He took the time to answer all my questions and then some. I would highly recommend him to my friends.

Very friendly and knowledgeable . Took the time to answer all my questions and was very patient and thorough. No rushing at all. He’s at Mt. Sinai. I appreciated that he accessed my MRIs at NYU Langone.

Was 10 minutes late to appointment (called explaining that I was stuck in traffic). Doctor refused to see me despite me explaining i was experiencing bad symptoms and had waited a month for the appt. Would never want to see such a heartless doctor anyway. Based on the reviews it seems like I’m better off.

Laughed at me when I tried to explain different symptoms that I was there for. Dont waste your time with this doctor. Would not answer any questions I was asking. Staff such as the nurses are so very helpful and kind too bad he is not the same way.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He laughed at me, called me fat, didn't listen when I tried to explain to him that the reason I had gained weight was because of the same condition that brought me to him in the first place. He was extremely rude, dismissive, uncaring, unempathetic. He told me I wasn't sick because I didn't look sick. Because that's how medical conditions work, right? Some professional. To sum it up, I told him he was rude, left his room crying, and went into a panic attack.
