Disappointed in care
Dr. Vohra has been my doctor for years. The care has declined. Call and questions go unanswered. Recently prescribed medicine without pre-authorization even though I question the pre- auth and her nurse stated the pharmacy took care of that. The pharmacy declined due to no pre- authorization.I spoke with the pharmacy and insurance provided who both stated the doctor did not provided the requested information. I have made 8 calls to Dr. Vohra NONE that have yet to be returned. Is it her nurses? The office staff? It is terrible to treat a patient like they are nothing.

Need to find new MD
I had been seeing another doctor who retired. I really liked that doctor. So my complaints about Dr. vohra is that I felt rushed. There was no nurse to take my BP so that was never done. I went for my annual exam but she didn’t examine me as my previous MD. I told her of shoulder pains I was having. She never looked at it or anything but asked if I wanted something for pain. I’m considering looking for another doctor.

Horrible customer service staff - Doctor
I have a member that waited 4 weeks to get a B12 shot, when she called the office the staff was rude and told her she was harassing them by calling back asking for help. I as the Care Representative from her insurance spoke with Dr. Ira and she was as rude as the staff, and suggested we find another provider for our member. We were glad to get her and her family another PCP in the area that has customer service and compassion for chronic ill patients. We are currently removing Dr. Ira as a provider no-one deserves to be treated like I witness her treating patients.

I am a patient due to being transferred from a practice I've been with for years. I have seen Dr. Vohra for regular and unplanned visits. Never have I felt like I was a valued patient. The nurse does my weight and blood pressure and that's it. Even with complaints, I'm still not examined. First I thought maybe it's just me, but on a recent visit with complaints of left arm weakness, a blurry eye and shoulder pain, I was not even examined. I went for an xray and am waiting almost 2 weeks for results, I was told to go get my eyes examined and and if there's anything wrong they'll direct me. I've called the office. I'm directed to her nurse, which is an answering machine. I leave a message and am still waiting. No calls back. No follow up, nothing. Sometimes I have to call three times to get get a regular medication refilled. This is after the pharmacy sends it in twice. God forbid if there is anything wrong. I am looking for a new phyician who will care. A few years is too long to wait.

Dr. Vohra took over the practice of my doctor who retired. I saw her once and she did not seem to want to listen to me, and made me feel like I was an imposition on her time. I had not been feeling well for some time and had to practically beg for bloodwork or anything else to be done. She made me feel stupid. I have tried to call other times when I have a cold or something minor, and I get placed on hold and never answered, or cannot get an appointment. The staff is rude.

Dr Vohra and her PA are wonderful, however the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Anytime you call your request is received as if it were the biggest imposition on their part to meet your needs. While I get every patient thinks that their illness/request is an emergency and the staff may have seen ten similar cases just that day, they should have respect for the patients needs. It most likely is the first time the patient is dealing with that issue. Just poor experience in the front!
