Do not bother going here for help with chronic pain. My adult daughter was seen this week. She was seen initially by a "Fellow" who asked some questions and did a very cursory examination. He left for a while then returned with Dr S. He asked a couple of questions, did no exam at all. His suggestion: find exercise videos that you can do while sitting down. My daughter has daily migraines and abdominal pain or unknown origin x3 weeks. She's severely depressed, not surprisingly. Appalled.

I was referred to Dr.S for joint and bone pain. I was made to feel it was all in my head. I told him exactly what pain medication works for me. But when I asked him about it he said No. So he put me on something for sleep, anxiety, and depression. Well I have these issues because of the pain. I'm tired of taking 20 pills a day for different things, when he can give me 3 a day to make the constant chronic, all day every day body pain go away. .ughhh

Was referred to UW Center for Pain Relief for relief from Chronic Lymes Symptoms. Specifically for Severe Joint Pain. Because I was being treated by a naturopath for my Lymes he recomended I see UW infectious disease Dr. at UW before they would really discuss any further. They apparently do not work with/collaborate with N.P.'s. Visiting an infectious disease Dr. in the NW to discuss Lymes is a DEAD END as was this referral.
