I had a triple hernia surgery and have been having groin pain ever since. Been back to Irene and was told I was making a mountain out of a mole hill. I have been having painful erections and abdominal and groin pain ever since.

Ruptured appendix-infection-appendectomy. JP-Tangi
Waited 1yr.(post caillouet) to write this review. I’m almost 60 & a fairly healthy female. Went to STPH-ER, 12-2021, told my appendix exploded(8 days ago) & large pocket of infection in abdomen. SHOCKER-I thought “kidney stones” couldn’t pass. Did NOT put a drain in. Hospitalized 5 days, tons of antibiotics, pic lines, etc. Sent home on antibiotics. Had me come in(1st appt) to “schedule” appendectomy(make me go through trip-visit just to “schedule”). I asked MANY questions & left very disappointed, confused & NO confidence”. Seemed unfamiliar with my case. Did not explain what to expect, wrong answers about specifics-only follow instruction papers(generic). Sought 2nd opinion(known surgeon)on vaca. Eventually appendectomy, end of Jan. 2022. That was not even performed as per “info sheets”. Post appendectomy, almost immediately noticed “new troubles. Every call/concern was met with “give it time” & “seek GI consult”. 1yr post-still searching for answers/solutions/fixes. GI, URO, ENT

She’s Amazing!!
I actually met Dr Caillouet thru a mutual friend. I Immediately recognized her ease, kindness, and confidence. I needed a small procedure and asked her if she would be my surgeon. The surgery was a great success and now 16 weeks out, I feel great! Zero complications, Dr. Caillouet was wonderful! From the beginning she made me feel comfortable, answered all of my questions and concerns, explained my options and helped me make the right choice. I’ve been a nurse for 28 years and though I’ve not had the pleasure of working with Dr Caillouet, I’ve worked with countless surgeons and easily recognize the “whole package”. Dr Callouet. She’s the whole package! Intelligence, expertise, talented, patient, kind and personable. Thank you Dr. Caillouet for being all that you are! Barbie Stevens

Dr calliouet did a gallbladder removal on me and when closing off the vessels, she knicked my vagus nerve with a surgical clip causing permanent damage and severe pain to the point that even a shirt rubbing against my abdomen hurts so bad it makes me nauseous. Not to mention the new diagnosis of gp (paralysis of my digestive system)

I was admitted to STPH with a gallbladder attack. Dr. Caillouet was the surgeon for my surgery. I had never heard of her nor seen or met her. She came in my room the day of surgery to introduce herself and to see if I had any questions or concerns. She took her time explaining what she would be doing and made sure I was comfortable with this procedure. I would highly recommend her to anyone! She has great bedside manners and is very caring and concerned with her patient care. Always smiling!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Caillouet?
Dr. Caillouet performed a routine appendectomy on my daughter and botched it. Worse, she blamed my daughter, claiming that my daughter's bladder was "in the wrong place." This was clearly untrue (the Chief of Urology at Tulane said so). She was unable to apologize for her error and petty enough to try to trick a 13-year old into thinking there was something wrong with her body. Anyone can make a surgical error, but it takes a pretty terrible doctor to blame that error on a child.
