I echo the sentiment of the other people that have left reviews regarding this office. My mother had an appointment scheduled 13 months in advance. She never received a phone call confirming her appointment. They gave a 70 year-old woman a procedure date 13 months away and never bothered to call her and confirm the procedure date and time. Naturally, she missed her appointment. Now Dr. Faraji's office has been sending my mother a bill for a no-show. I have called more than a half a dozen times with no return phone call from this office. I was finally able to speak to an outside person in billing who researched it and said that my mother is still responsible for the bill based on what Dr. Faraji's office states. The office staff is completely unprofessional and unhelpful. They will not go out of their way to assist you. I definitely do not recommend that anyone visit this drs office. There are plenty of other offices with more competent, professional, and sincere individuals.

The best doctor I’ve seen
He is caring and at the age of a80 I’ve seen other gastroenterologist and he is the best. He has done both endoscopy and colonoscopy and he’s the one doctor who I have recommended to all my friends and my regular physician to use for her patients.

The Best in the Central Valley
Dr. Faraji has been my gastroenterologist for over 20 years. I am SHOCKED viewing all these one and two-star reviews. They are just ludicrous and petty. Dr. Faraji is a cut above the rest. I have listened to many friends recount their understandable dissatisfaction with their GI doctor, with REAL complaints about the CARE received by and KNOWLEDGE of their GI. I have nothing but GLOWING feedback for EVERY visit with and procedures performed by Dr. Faraji, 20 years of care adds up to a LOT of experience with this doctor. He is straightforward and patient. He definitely LISTENS to ME, so well that he has had independent recall of some fairly esoteric concerns I have expressed at prior visits.Wait times are generally the result of him taking some extra time to deliver bad news to a patient or his or her family after a procedure. If this was you or your loved one, would you want the doctor to RUSH through his explanation so he could be on time for his afternoon schedule? I hope not.

HORRIBLE
If I could leave zero stars they would get zero, my father went in and was sent to do a colonoscopy done, my father showed up without knowing of any preping so his appointment had to be rescheduled and he had to go back to this dr to get a new appointment, Kathy (office manager) told him he couldn’t get another appointment till he made a $50 cash only payment of a previous visit balance he had, my father asked if he could pay that balance later and she told him if he didn’t pay that whole amount he couldn’t get a new appointment, my father then went ahead and paid the $50. I called to ask why he couldn’t have made payments, why he didn’t get a receipt, and what did he have a $50 balance and never got a bill for that, she said he couldn’t do payments, it had to be paid in full in order to get another appointment, she said a receipt would be mailed to him stating that he was billed for no show to his appointment. I have more to add to this review but it won’t give enough room for more

Dr. Faraji is the best! He cares about your condition and is beyond knowledgeable in regards to treatments. Without his expert care I don't think my son would be alive. Cathy has always been so helpful and we appreciate everything she has done for our family over the years xoxox.

Review
I had procedures done by Dr. Faraji. I had moved to Idaho and actually came back because he was so talented. It's been a while, but today I recommended him to my nephew. So I saw these reviews. I too thought the front office staff was abrupt. But HE more than makes up for them. I would tell everyone to seek out this Doctor. As it is, tomorrow I have another colonoscopy in Southern California. I wish I had gone to Turlock to visit family and have the procedure done by Dr. Faraji.

I was referred to Dr. Faraji by my Internist. I never went any further than my first call to the front desk/receptionist. She was very rude and condescending. I understand Dr. Faraji is a very highly respected Gastroenterologist, however his front office staff needs to be scrutinized. They could be responsible for future negative reviews that might affect his desirability.

Disappointed... – Dec 03, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Faraji?
In the past few years I have visited alot of doctors. This is all due to a very horrific vehicle accident that left me burned over 60% of my body with multiple major amputations. Dr Faraji is definitely in my top 2 favorite doctors I've seen. Very kind and most of all from what I've seen, he truly cares for his patients. Very highly recommended and as far as myself...I have hope again which because of other doctors had diminished to nearly nothing. I'm confident that the light at the end of the tunnel this time isn't a freight train. Good luck and God bless all those dealing with pain, especially those dealing with constant chronic pain as I do. Thank you Dr Faraji for everything you do to help.

Takes patients in irregular order, made me late for work. Did not call to remind me of time or prep method for procedure, had to Google what to do. Very slow to take patients, very limited availability, long vacations, at times bad attitude too.

I appreciate Dr. Faraji's expertise and thoroughness. What I don't appreciate is having to wait over a week for authorization for a refill of my prescription. I also don't appreciate the person on the front desk; I have made 5 phone calls asking if they have received the fax from the pharmacy requesting authorization for the refill and have been told it hasn't been received. Since the pharmacy assured me they faxed the request over 3 times, her response is unacceptable.

Nope! Got to find a new doctor! Doctor was ok, but just in it for the money. After the procedure I asked if he could call or email me with the results, his staff started yelling at me and wouldn’t give me my results! They just want more money and more of my time to wait in their office! Never again!
