In 2012 I had a medical emergency and was referred to Dr. Loose. He did surgery, which was totally successful, and I've seen him once a year since. He's knowledgeable, thorough, and kind - and he communicates with me in terms I can understand; it's much appreciated!

I was referred to this doctor for a suspected retinal tear or detachment. I waited 2.5 hours without seeing the doctor. I was not alone. There were several of us waiting and waiting and waiting. I've had a retinal exam several times and it only takes 90 seconds or so for the doctor to have a look. I finally couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. 2.5 hours wasted and no call from the doctor to apologize. Would he wait 2.5 hours to see a lawyer or accountant or dentist or barber?

Dr. Loose is very professional as are his assistants and office staff.
I never felt he was rushing or rushing me out the door. He took time to answer all my many questions and gave me all my options.

I had to have surgery to have a macular tear repaired. The service and professionalism from the Doctor and office was great. You do have to wait for your appointment each time but when it was my turn to see Dr. Loose, I never felt rushed. Very satisfied with my experience and if I need any specialized eye care in the future I would not hesitate to see Dr. Loose again.
