Dr. Isaac Tong, MD

Dr. Tong was very thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. I have been pain free for at least 2 years after he did a procedure on my lower back.

I was being treated by Dr. Tong for over a year. I had an appointment and got a message from their office telling me that my appointment was cancelled. When I asked if I could reschedule they told me that he no longer work for Tri City Pain and they had no idea where he went. Very unprofessional of Tri City Pain. If Dr. Tong had an emergency, it's understandable, however, his patients should have been shown the courtesy of knowing. I would never recommend TriCity.

Dr. IssacTong has been our family's pain management physician for quite some time. Now he has unexpectedly and suddenly disappeared from Tri City Pain, therefore, neither my husband, my grandson nor I will be patients of your establishment in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Tong. He is kind , considerate and efficient. He has helped me so much and with my sciatica pain. You can’t ask for a better staff as well. Thank you for helping me other when Dr’s did not!!

Leaves patients waiting for meds for days and days.

Referred to Dr Tong from PCP. As a retired soldier, I saw no need for pain management as I've often been told it's an occupational hazard & expected with age, I'm 60. WRONG! Until Dr Tong I didn't realize how much pain I allowed myself to live with until I FINALLY had relief! It's my opinion that Dr. Tong is current in knowledge, skills, techniques & procedures in pain management, & much more. Dr Tong would get comfortable in his chair, turn towards me & maintain good eye-contact for a Great Face to Face experience. He listens, explains options & allows the patient to ask questions before a treatment plan is agreed to. He follows up with progress & adjusts the plan as needed. He's down to earth, honest, compassionate & professional at all times. Sadly, Dr Tong received a poor review. I keep in mind there's at least 2, maybe 3-4, sides to every story. I would refer & encourage anyone living with chronic pain to schedule your appt & decide for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Dr. Tong is very knowledgeable in his field. He has excellent bedside manners and patiently addressing your concerns and responding to your inquiries that you don't even realize you're not his only patient. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.

Before seeing Dr. Tong my pain was unbearable. I suffer from several bad spine conditions confirmed by MRI. No other doctor has helped me like Dr. Tong. The procedures and medical treatments have allowed me to live a livable life again. I can’t thank him enough for his compassion and honest caring. I can’t recommend Dr. Tong enough for any of your pain related health issues. He will find solutions that work.

I've had two pain doctors in the San Antonio area. I always felt rushed by my previous doctor and felt that they pushed a certain treatment without listening to my concerns.
