Dismissive as a physician
Went to the ER for extreme back pain on a pain scale level, It was about an eight. I don’t ever go to the emergency room unless it’s an absolute emergency. Only had my vitals done and the doctor came in the room and told me that he wasn’t sure why I was there and that perhaps I needed to see an orthopedist, not the emergency room. Never did any x-rays or scans or even examined me before telling me that. When I suggested to him that back pain could be a variety of different things. He said that he’s the doctor and If I thought that it was a woman’s issue he could give me a referral for a gynecologist. Then proceeded to ask me if I wanted pain medicine. as he thought that that was the reason for my visit. I left there in tears and went on to go see another qualified Dr. who is able to diagnose my pain appropriately and indeed there was some very wrong. This ER Dr undermined how I was feeling and made me feel like I never want to use an ER ever again.

Late & No Compassion
I went to Urgent Care at 8:00 before work, when the location opens and I waited 20 minutes before this doctor arrived. I paid a $45 copay for this late doctor to tell me to go to the pharmacy and get some ibuprofen. No compassion, not on time, and rude.

Worst Doctor I have ever encountered
I went to Urgent care because I was feeling ill and recently exposed to Covid. He did not examine me at all; just said the Covid test was negative and sent me on my way. He did not listen to my chest, nor did he take a blood pressure. He never checked my glands, ears, or nose. I am in my late 60's with various health issues. This was totally unacceptable. And to add insult to injury, he was nasty as well.

I saw Dr. Gonzalez on Sept. 1, 2022 at Plainview Prohealth Urgent Care. I walked out of that visit extremely disappointed. I was exposed to Covid and not feeling well, body aches, sore throat, funny feeling in my chest. Dr. Gonzalez waked into the room wearing a teal polo shirt and what looked like jeans, I wasn't even sure he was a doctor; After his exam and I am even less sure. He did not listen to me breath, did not take my blood pressure or examine me in anyway. He merely indicated my Covid test was negative; go home and take ibuprofen. I said aren't you you going to take my pressure, or listen to me breathe..he got nasty and said this is Urgent care, not a doctors appointment so it wasn't necessary. I am a senior citizen with many health problems, If I come to a doctor not feeling well I would at least expect for them to examine me and take vitals. I am shocked and disappointed at this encounter.

I book the appointment on line for 2.15 pm on July 15th 2022. Waited for 45 minutes outside in my car, very hot day 85 degree. Refused to let me sit inside, front desk told me, sick patient not allowed to sit inside. Dr Israel Gonzalez never checked me, told me I am covid positive, prescribed me medication for covid. Next day I went to CityMD urgent care, tested covid negative. They treated me well, Today July 28th. I am felling very well. No covid problem. Very bad experience.

I saw Dr. Gonzalez at Pro Health Urgent Care in Plainview for a skin tear that happened about five hours before. I initially washed it and put Bacitracin on it - but that was quite awhile before. He didn’t bother to clean it even after I questioned him - telling me we all have bacteria on our skin. He just out steristrips on it and a bandage over it and told me to keep it dry for two days. It didn’t look good in the morning and when I called there, they told me to go to a different ProHealth in Huntington. I called there and the receptionist wouldn’t set up an appointment. I called my regular doctor and he got me in. He was horrified that it was not cleaned before putting the strips on, but said he couldn’t do anything as they need to fall off on their own. He told me to keep it dry for a week - big difference. .

I saw Dr. GONZALEZ in the hospital in Huntington. He was layed back, decent guy. I was there from a previous sinusitis, Or viral he said. One thing I did not agree with him is he said Sinusitis is not treated with antibiotics. All the other times without an antibiotic has caused me serious complications in the past. But a nice guy for sure. He ordered the routine chest xray and my doc sent me there for a catscan of sinusis and blood which he felt wasn't necessary.
