Dr. Ivane Chua, MD

If I could give Dr. Chua six stars I would. I came to her after having a bad experience with another surgeon and she completely put my mind at ease the minute I met her. She was calm, personable, and very knowledgeable and great at alleviating the awkwardness of the exam through humor and her outgoing demeanor. She is also a very skilled and meticulous surgeon and an excellent communicator. I really appreciate her attention to detail, before, during and after my surgery, and will 100% go back to her for any future colorectal needs. Highly recommend.

Pre-surgical consultation and postoperative evaluation were both excellent she is very kind, caring, and meticulous in surgery! She explained everything prior to the procedure and postoperatively with drawings making it easy to understand. I highly recommend this colorectal surgeon especially for lifesaving surgery!

She is not only a highly skilled surgeon but a caring provider. She told me what to expect at all stages of my surgery and recovery and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

After being dismissed by many doctors and specialists dismissed me, Dr Chua gave me my life back in more ways that she knows. She is kind, understanding, intelligent, and thorough. Had to give her a review. Cannot recommend her enough.

I will start off with the office staff is very pleasant and easy to speak with. I did not wait at all. The doctor is very easy to speak with and is very informative but most importantly she listened to me in detail about what I was experiencing . Excellent bed side manner. She explained everything to me in detail along with showing me pictures. I highly recommend her.

When looking for a colorectal physician on-line, I randomly picked Dr. Chua. It was the best blind selection I could of possibly made. She is very personable and had the ability to make me laugh while undergoing several in-office procedures.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Chua for almost 2 years. She is an excellent surgeon, she is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything so that you can really understand what needs to be done, how long it will take and future expectations. She is very compassionate, caring and reassuring. She makes you feel comfortable, listens and attends to your overall concerns. She has always asked about how my pain is and has been, resulting in my getting through each procedure with very little discomfort. She has surpassed my expectations. She is kind, patient, a great listener and also a fantastic communicator. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Chua to all my friends and family.

Dr. Chua performed my surgery and did it wonderfully. Her and every staff member associated with her and her office have been nothing but fantastic. Dr. Chua is very up beat and explains everything so that I understood what was done and what my recovery will entail. Would definitely recommend!!

This was the second time I have seen Dr. Chua. She quickly assessed my problem and got me set for surgery the next day. Although she did not perform the surgery, I wouldn't hesitate having her perform a procedure. I can highly recommend putting your trust in Dr. Chua.

The first time I met Dr. Chua I felt very comfortable in her care. After having her perform a colonoscopy I was reassured she knew what she was doing. She is very knowledgeable in her visits and explains everything in terms easy to understand. After she told me I need surgery, I was a bit apprehensive, but she explained the procedure with me and my husband, I feel much more relaxed with the decision.

Excellent interpersonal skills in answering questions and lining out a course of treatment. Very thorough and professional, with special skills in making patient feel comfortable.

Very good doctor, listens well. Takes the time to explain issues. Only negative is she is very expensive. I've been to a lot of specialists and she is almost $100 more for my visit than the most expensive I have seen. Almost had a heart attack when I saw the bill.
