Dr. Ivo Drazenovic N, MD

When reaching out to the office while in terrible pain, the front desk made an appointment. I knew it was my gallbladder, and that it was getting to be unbearable. When seeing him, he completely dismissed me, told me my diet and weight were the cause of REFLUX- that the pain I was feeling was not my gallbladder mind you I am a 176lb. When I suggested my gallbladder he chuckled and said “google?” Prescribing me over the counter reflux medicine and a throat scope for 2 months later- not even 24hours later I was admitted into the ER for emergency removal of my gallbladder where I stayed for 4-5 days. When talking to the ER team, and hospitalist- no one could understand why a throat scope was assigned- saying “unusual” & “that wouldn’t have helped” & “why would that be referred. I am one of the kindest individuals, I give everyone the benefit of doubt. I was kind to him in the visit, but the way he treated me & his demeanor toward me suggesting what was wrong with MY body was so rude.

My experience with Dr. Drazenovic was good at first. Then he became inattentive and dismissive. My son's blood work came back positive for TB and he send me to the NYC Health Department. I wanted the test to be repeated due to my son not having any symptoms even the x-rays came back negative. He refused to repeat the test and the NYC Health Dept doctor would call him and he never answered any of her calls. The doctor from the NYC Health Department had to repeat the blood work and my son came out negative for TB. He doesn't seem to want to help his patients and should find another career as he isn't being responsible.

Is one of the friendliest, professional and knowledgeable physicians in the business. He feels like part of my family. I would never change.
