Dr. Ivor Benjamin, MD

Dr. Ivor Benjamin seemed nice at first, but then it became increasingly apparent that he was in it for the money. One appointment he was so unprofessional he came to tell my mom she had cancer growing again and he was just muching on food like it wasn't a sad serious situation. My mother fought Ovarian Cancer 4 years. He kept telling us her numbers looked good and her cancer was shrinking and to keep doing Elehare which was a new chemo treatment. (Which is a extremely pricey treatment). My mom's health kept diminishing and we brought up the fact she was having a hard time eating and my mom was just laying in bed most days. He just said to have her drink protein drinks and she would be fine and continue treatment. April 1st was her last chemo therapy. She began having a hard time keeping even liquids down. I decided it was time to take her to the ER. She had a scan done and it showed her cancer had spread throughout her entire abdomen. Please don't go to him if you want a chance.

Told he was a preferred provider for Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield Basic. Close to $3000 later I'm demanded to pay. Will not git back because I was lied to by his office staff.

Benjamin Ivor Accidentally cut my artery and sent me home after surgery. I came back to Hospital ER because I was Bleeding so much but he was so busy we couldn't get ahold of him till hours later. I would not recommend because he seemed dishonest he told my husband surgery went well and when i came back told us a different story of how difficult the surgery was.

This was the worst doctor I’ve ever met. He was late, had not even looked at my records, could not answer questions about my pathology report, belittling me when I asked, tried to do an unnecessary checkup and wants to schedule me for unnecessary surgery. I would never let this man lay a finger on me.

He knew right away what my problem was and got me in for surgery within a week. He is a very caring man even though he's done this thousands of times

Dr. Ivor Benjamin is an excellent and extremely gifted surgeon! I recently had a very large and painful ovarian cyst removed, along with the affected ovary! Dr Benjamin's thoughtful and prompt attention for my care and well being was both encouraging and comforting, especially considering the possibility of a malignancy. I was grateful and appreciated Dr. Benjamin's expediency in getting my surgery scheduled. Thankfully, the cyst turned out to be benign. There were no complications from the surgery. I am now recovering quickly and healing well! Dr. Benjamin used the De Vinci robotic laparoscopic technique for my surgery so that it was minimally invasive. Due to his skill as a surgeon, I doubt I will even have any noticeable scaring from the surgery. I have complete confidence and trust in the excetional surgical skills and competence of Dr Benjamin! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Benjamin to anyone neeeding any kind of Gynecologic or Gynecologic Oncology surgery! I think he is simply the BEST!

I found Dr. Benjamin to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about a personal condition. He spends the time to listen to you and give you his expert experience. I feel very at ease knowning he is my doctor.

Dr Benjamin is an amazing dr. I had the hysterectomy with the da Vinci and the surgery went great. My body unfortunately hates me and I had to have it done twice. He left part of my ovary so I wouldn't go into early menopause and it formed a cyst and I almost bled out, but he was quick to the hospital to fix it and now I am recovering well. Thank you ??

Doctor made me feel very uncomfortable when he started making comments about people who can’t pay their bills like “illegals” who sign up for Obamacare and get his services for free. That’s not professional. What he doesn’t know is my husband is Mexican. Wouldn’t let this man remove a wart.

After a scary call from my OBGYN, Dr. Benjamin got me in the next day to review my scans. His sense of urgency was great. He was kind and explained his concerns about what he saw. Also he was able to get me in to surgery in two weeks! He performed a hysterectomy with Da Vinci method and seems to have removed the cancer he found. I begin Chemo very soon. He and His entire team has been caring and sensitive to me and with my family about the diagnosis. They are saving my life! God bless them!

The doctor saw me 6 months after operating on me and had no clue that he had operated on me until I reminded him of the sequence of events leading up to surgery. I am a surgeon and he even forgot that. Further surgery was required and I was shown where the scars would be. I woke up from surgery to find 5 incisions across my upper abdomen-none in the location he said before surgery! It looks like I was stabbed by someone. No 2 piece bathing suits now. His training is misleading.
