Dr. Boudreaux saved my life!
After being told by both a local oncologist and a liver surgeon that the stage 4 metastatic tumor load ( due to Neuroendocrine cancer) in my liver was too extensive to operate on, I was referred to Dr. John Boudreaux in Metairie, La. He resected my liver in July of 2023 during an 8 hour surgery. I am alive and thriving with no significant symptoms. Thanks be to God and Dr. B!

HE IS AMAZZZING!!! I have neuroendocrine cancer. My specialist in AZ gave me 5 surgeons across the country and he said whoever responds first, GO! I flew to New Orleans in Oct. of 2017 for pre-op and flew back a week later. He is extremely thorough, I had NO fear and shockingly he uses some kind of nerve block during surgery and I felt minimal pain the 2nd day and then quit taking pain meds! (I zero pain tolerance and my family was SO concerned how I would handle this.) I had a 12-14 inch vertical incision to remove all the tumors. I wouldn't hesitate to fly out again if need be and I have referred others with successful outcomes. He used to be a transplant surgeon! Helloooo! Who do you think knows BEST about the inside of your body?? DR. BOUDREAUX, THAT'S WHO! If you have NET, you are in good hands. If your previous Dr. said you are inoperable then make an appt. with Dr. B and have him have the final say! He's incredible!!

Dr. John Boudreaux did my my first Transplant, Kidney/Pancreas, at Ochsner in New Orleans, LA in 1991, and also did a subsequent kidney transplant in 1997 after I lost the first due to chronic rejection. He has excellent bedside manner, and is an extremely smart and caring physician. I have turned to him many times over the years for one ailment or another, and I always check in with him before proceeding with any new meds or procedure. He tells me, "If it isn't broke, don't six it."

Poor service. Was told I MUST go to ER and have surgery... end of visit... no surgery just a bunch of expensive tests. May have been seen by him for 5 minutes max. I was just thrown through a series of tests so nurses could gain experience. End result and diagnosis - "I have no idea what the issue is." Solid work Doc. His partner doctor was of much more help. The nurses/attendees were also nice and helpful, but overall visiting him was a complete waste of time.

Dr. Boudreaux is focused and devoted to solving problems, as well as tenacious about deriving the best outcome for his patients. I've never seen a surgeon so entirely engrossed in helping his patient achieve a better quality of life...by way of his work. I will be forever grateful for his skills, his knowledge of my disease, and his desire to achieve success to my greater good. Thank you Dr. Boudreaux..thank you!

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Boudreaux & his Office Mgr. working very hard to ruin the relationship with me & my surgeon. I was forced to see Dr. Boudreaux because they insisted I could not see my Dr. because he was too busy and Dr. Boudreaux never looked at my scans or surgery or history and tried to complete a post op visit for a surgery he was clueless about. He has his own agenda,is involved in something deceitful and does not have his patient's best interest and care in mind.
