I had surgery with Dr. McBath and before having surgery we discussed how he was going to be repairing my abdominal muscles and remove any adhesions and scar tissue. However after surgery I was informed that he had not done what he said he would. I put my trust in him and he broke that trust. I am at a loss for words as to how disappointed I am with him. This should never happen!

Dr.McBath did my surgery and prior to the surgery he told me he would repair my abdominal muscles and remove any adhesions as well as scar tissue. However after waking up I found out he did not repair anything we discussed. This makes me very sad because I put my trust in this Doctor and he disregarded my needs because he was in such a hurry to get on to his vacation that he did not take his time to repair what needed to be done. Now I will have to have more surgery to fix these issues. Sad!

Visiting an oncologist for the first time was a daunting experience. Dr. McBath was such a source of confidence and support. He asked specific questions as he did my exam, explaining what he was looking for as he moved along. I felt I was in the hands of a competent, highly experienced professional who was also empathetic and friendly, a very welcome combination in a very unwelcome situation.
