I had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Jabeen Ahed, an anesthesiologist at Tampa General Hospital, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. As someone with Myasthenia Gravis, anesthesia can be complicated and potentially dangerous if not handled properly. In the past, I’ve had issues when anesthesiologists didn’t listen to my concerns—but Dr. Ahed was different.From the moment I met her, she took the time to listen carefully to my medical history and concerns. She was incredibly compassionate, attentive, and thorough in her approach. Thanks to her expertise and genuine care, I experienced zero issues with the anesthesia. Her professionalism and dedication made me feel completely at ease, and I knew I was in the best hands possible.Dr. Jabeen Ahed is an exceptional physician who truly cares about her patients. If you need an anesthesiologist, I highly recommend her without hesitation.

Dr. Jabeen Ahed was my anesthesiologist for an endoscopy procedure at Tampa General Hospital in March 2025. She was very attentive and helpful in my understanding of the medical process and procedures. She personally followed up with me after the procedure to make sure I was recovering well. My Mother had surgery and Dr Ahed was her Anesthesiologist….. She is the most kind, compassionate, knowledgeable woman and truly is an amazing physician that puts her patients as a top priority.. she treats her patients like family and I was so grateful my mother was in such competent hands.. I had an absolutely amazing experience with this anesthesiologist. My orthopedic surgery went well and I woke up without pain or nausea. Her bedside manner was the best I’ve encountered. She is kind, patient and knowledgeable and it is obvious that the staff trust her and they work well together as a team. She even called me herself the next morning to check on me and the resolution of my nerve block.

A family member was a recent patient of this team of anesthesiologists. Having met a number of members of this team, I can say - with no equivocation - that Dr Ahed is THE physician to request. She’s a brilliant doctor who also communicates with great compassion.
